Me and my sister popped in for a spot of breakfast and we're greeted by the friendliest member of staff she took our order and our food arrived not 15 minutes later! The food was incredible I had the pancakes with bacon and eggs, the bacon was super crispy but not burn and the eggs perfectly done my sister had pancakes with cream and fruit which looked divine! Both were very healthy portions for the price and tasted beautiful. The music in this cafe is wonderful aswell and the decor had a cozy feel with strong art nouveau influences and there is plenty of seating including more space upstairs. We would highly recommend this place to anyone living is or on holiday in Scarborough!

Lovely little restaurant serving great food, lots of options. Vegetarian options too, but sadly no vegetarian sausage ?

Had breakfast twice here on our recent visit to Scarborough, it’s a lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Walked past and fancied some dinner, steak burger was possibly best burger I've had. Friendly staff and nice and cosy atmosphere.

We were staying in a hotel up the road and decided to nip in for some breakfast and it was so lovely. You get the atmosphere that it is loved by locals as the staff were very friendly with everyone. I got a breakfast roll and my boyfriend got an English breakfast and it was lovely, cleaned the plates. Will definitely visit again on our next trip

Nice food and good portion sizes. A great selection of cakes too. The fish goujon sandwich and chips was excellent.

Went in here with my partner for breakfast, we asked for a full English with scrambled eggs instead of the fried ones, we were told "We don't do scrambled eggs only fried" asked if they could make an exception as we were having the full English, but still a no, so we ordered two lots of toast and jam, the toast was poor to say the least, the jam and marg came in ramakins and not individual portions, jam was watery and low end quality, the waitress was quite rude and abrasive, I would not recommend this place at all.

I was up in Scarborough for a break away from reality, I then stumbled upon this beautiful cafe & just had to see it for myself! The staff were very friendly & helpful in regards to where I wanted to be seated & what I wanted to order. I'm abit of a fancy pants when it comes to me breaky so I went for the crushed bacon avocado on toast which was divine ! I could tell the avocado was fresh & it was so lovely to see a small establishment use such fresh ingredients as that is rare these days. I also had a lovely latte with an extra shot (ofc!) & syrup, sadly can't remember the flavour I had but it was so refreshing & a much needed pick-me-up! After enjoying my meal I was intending to leave but I couldn't keep my eyes of off the array of freshly baked desserts & pastries they had so I had to grab a few for my travels. Overall a comfortable dining experience served by two lovely ladies who had that passion that I like to see within hospitality :)

Had quiche..on menu says quiche with chips salad and homemade coleslaw..got the quiche and a few bits of salad and tub of coleslaw.Asked for the chips was told its quiche with salad or quiche with chips..not both!Clearly says different on the menu. I even said I had checked again on the window. Clearly says both.Foid was OK...ate what I got.Felt ripped off tbh. £9.95 for a bit of quiche a handful of salad and a small tub of slaw. Very disappointed

This place is delightful. Food was tasty and not overpriced. The atmosphere just feels like being at home and takes me back to the old fashioned cafes I went to as a kid whilst also being modernised. When I'm in scarbrough I will be back.

Offered crayons and drawing sheets but no childs menu. And no scrambled aggs (if you have eggs you can make a scrambled egg). Pancakes was the one thing that looked good for kids on the menu but they didn't have that in stock!! Had to buy my son (4) the poached egg and salmon and my daughter (1) avocado on toast. I got the half breakfast because I could see it being pricey already and my wife got the poached egg and salmon. The avocado on toast was far too lemony and nobody in the family could manage more than a bite and the whole thing cost me £48.50!! If they want to be family friendly cater for a family. Service was not accommodating, food was average and price was too high. Do not recommend.Kid-friendliness: Menu does not cater for kids.
