“We called in on the off chance of a roast dinner. It was 2 30 pm, and the staff went out of their way to find us a table for 4 people and our dog . The roast dinners we had were excellent. Lots of meat, veg, and two huge Yorkshire puddings . One of my group wanted scampi, and he wasn't disappointed . The portion size was large . One that any hungry person would have trouble eating. Another good thing is that the quality of food was excellent . I would recommend anyone visit if they were in the area.”

“Visited on a recommendation for their gluten free food (I'm ceoliac)...had the gf Chicken Parmo which was lovely. However I would've liked to see the gf food come out with an allergy flag. Felt slightly on edge I was eating the wrong food”

“Been here a few times and the carvery is always bang on. What stood out for me today was when I got mine and my daughter’s carvery, I accidentally put mint sauce on hers before mine. I tried my hardest to scrape it off as best as I could and admitted defeat. I went to the bar to ask for an extra bowl in order for me to split this up as my 9 year old really doesn’t like it, anyway the lady behind the bar offered us a completely new carvery and took me straight over for a fresh kids one. For me it was such a relief that I was able to do this, and she was also extremely friendly like it wasn’t any trouble at all. Thank you. X”
