We live locally to the Black Swan and it’s such a pleasure to live close to our local that now serves such fabulous food that’s accompanied by some lovely wine and beer. Steak cooked to perfection and a delicious vegan curry. Part of what makes it, food and beer aside, is the delightful service as well. Thanks for a super evening

Thank you so much for an absolutely fabulous meal tonight! We had a party of 9 which started as a party of 4, then 6 and a newborn… April was accommodating from the start.We were welcomed by the lovely staff, served excellent drinks (clearly lines are cleaned well- very good pint ? ??) then had the most delicious Sunday Lunch… plenty meat, delicious crunchy veg! Credit to you April. Delicious!You’re a credit to the pub. My mum is sooooo picky as she has a degree in home economics and can cook but your food was outstanding.We have and will continue to recommend you to everyone. We shall certainly be back.Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and all round lovely lunch!Our neighbours and kids are booked in next week!Good for you April! You’re skilled!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed another fabulous meal at The Black Sawn in Wistow .The Festive menu was on offer and there was a great selection to choose from .I enjoyed my Pate , and the Cream of Parsnip soup and Prawn Cocktail went down a treat with my friends .The meat for our mains was succulent and tender (we had Turkey and Beef ) and the accompanying vegetables were freshly cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were substantial with thoughtful presentation . Sadly we had no room for dessert ! The Black Swan offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere , great food ,value for money and friendly and attentive staff ,with the added reassurance of a Five Star hygiene rating. We would definitely recommend !

We recently got married at Wistow Church across the road from the pub and the staff were so incredibly kind! They allowed us to use their garden for some pictures and even gave us a complimentary glass of fizz. Truly lovely pub with lovely
Can't fault anything that we had brilliant meal well worth a visit I used to live in the village and left quiet a few years ago but still a good atmosphere and friendly people will visit again very soon

Having had Sunday lunch, midweek dinner, snacks and drinks I can highly recommend The Black Swan. The food is delicious and varied, nicely presented and served with a smile! Definitely worth a visit!

Went here for lunch with the first outing with my newborn baby at a week old! The redecoration is lovely and it was a very calm environment, perfect for mine and babies first outing. Food was really good, I like the small menu as everything is then cooked well. Had a chocolate melt in the middle thing for dessert which was absolutely to die for!! Will 100% be back and intend to try out Sunday dinner.
