12A Park St, SelbyThis has been my Indian for the passed two years, I’ve had multiple takeaways and sat in and I can honestly say it’s consistently amazing, never once have they disappointed. Food has great flavour and the meat is always perfectly cooked. Not to mention the prices are very fair for the portion sizes you get. It probably is the best indian in Yorkshire.

3 Abbey Yard, SelbyThe food was lovely, all 8 of us enjoyed our food, there were a mixture of vegetarian and meat eaters and the menu catered for us all.
5 of us and had a set and there was plenty of food to go around.
The only thing that I would improve on would be the size of the serving bowls and plates so that we could fit everything on the tables and not have to play plate Jenga when each person wanted to get something from the servings.
The staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant was clean and pleasant from the waiting area to the seating.
Overall I would recommend and go back, nice place in the centre of town in between the abbey and town hall.

The Olive Branch Bistro
71-73 Gowthorpe, SelbyWe had the halloumi and nachos to start and followed with the lamb stew and lamb calzone. The quality of the food, flavours and presentation were beautifully devine as was the the service. My husband said he will never eat a calzone again because nowhere else could match this one.
The restaurant was full and the two servers were attentive, warm and professional and totally aware of the needs of the service aswell as expertly managing the bar between them.
We will visit Selby again, if only to return here!

Staff were rushed since we arrived at peak time.
Full breakfast was very full. My egg buttie was fine.
I offered my bank card but the lady preferred cash so I paid with what I had and topped the bill off with my card.
Seemed somewhat odd but it may be something to do with the cost of using contact less.

Clean and friendly atmosphere ?
We will definitely be back, please don't change a thing the Sunday lunches are sublime and home cooked meals in pubs are becoming a rarity.

I ordered 12 x 16 inch pizzas for my fiancés 30th birthday party to be delivered at 6pm and they were delivered exactly on time and they even carried them into the house and set them out on the table for us!! The pizzas were all amazing and everyone at the party was complimenting and asking where they were from. We will definitely be back? thank you so much!

The customer service is equally impressive. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Orders are prepared quickly and without any issues, which makes the whole experience even better.

2 King St, Cawood, SelbyQuaint old Theakstons pub with good beer garden, which could benefit from some TLC, particularly just out the back. Beer is good and service was really friendly. Not sure if food is served but on day of our visit ( Sunday ) there was the familiar sight of a food van in the carpark, so I guess not, so just one star for food. Pub is full of character and tucked away down a side street next to Cawood bridge, best to park elsewhere and walk round if driving.

We chose a butcher’s steak pie to share, it was packed with steak & a delicious gravy, the pastry was very tasty. The decor was very tastefully done with fabulous heavy duty wooden tables, benches, backrests & light fixtures. Worth a visit but you need to be there before closing at 2.00 pm

Thankfully, the new owner has upheld (and maybe improved upon), the fantastic standards Capri held dear to its heart. The food was fantastic, properly cooked by a lovely chef. Atmosphere added to by it being someone's birthday. Staff very friendly and kind. The wine list was cleverly short, reasonably priced, and excellent. Well done! to the new age of Capri

After the birth of our first grand daughter we decided to try our new local to celebrate with a pint or two and a fish supper. We found a warm and friendly welcome and although we were too late for the discounted Fish and Chip supper we went ahead and ordered. WOW! The food was fabulous. Hot, fresh and very tasty. Accompanied by a couple of pints of the new White Rat Ale we can happily say that we have found a new local to which we will definitely return

Main Rd, Drax, SelbyGreat location for a club eventzl hiring the hall venue. Really great service from the staff and good prices on the bar. We had a nice pub meal and enjoyed our time there.
Really handy close to A1 and M62.
Plenty of space in the large car park.

Great atmosphere, very relaxing and really nice people. Thanks also to Pete and Chloe for joining me and Mrs C for a very memorable evening. We’ll be back again next week. Xxx
Parking: We have always been able to park easily outside the pub and free after 6.00pm I hope!!
