I would not ever eat there again……..
Ordered childrens chicken strips chicken and bacon salad for my wife and burger and chips for myself. The chicken salad you only needed to look at to see the chicken was completely dry and either overcooked or re cooked so sent back. My triple cooked chips were the same colour as dark chocolate…. Dark brown and burnt so they asked if they wanted the entire meal sending back or just refresh the chips…. My mistake I ate the burger and waited for chips.
My wife’s salad arrived 10 minutes later and was cooked correctly. I had finished the burger. After 10 minutes my wife finished her chicken and bacon salad. 10 minutes later we were discussing leaving when my replacement chips arrived and they were ok. However after what ended up as a 3 course dinner we paid and left….. never will we return.
The worst meal we have had in 10 years of living in Selby.
How a chef can send food as bad as that without seeing the chicken is dry and chips are burned the colour of dark chocolate / mahogany astounds me.
The visit was 3.30 on Friday … definitely never to be repeated.

Great escape room, good selection of drinks and food. Need some work on the vegan bun - the standard brioche ones were good though.Had fun doing the escape room and great being able to take drinks in with us (though not much time to drink them and definitely didn't need being disturbed for top ups). Would definitely try their other rooms and venues!

This place is the most beautiful aesthetically pleasing bar and escape room I’ve ever been to!! It’s gorgeous, service always with a smile and the atmosphere was fantastic, I couldn’t recommend enough!! Will definitely be going back!

Hosted by kids 11 year old birthday party. Kids all loved it, the food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure that everything went perfectly. Great venue & staff.

I really like it in here. It's clean, the staff are pleasant. The seating is OK, good for eating, some comfy ones for drinking. It's got a good selection of drinks and nice coffee. The decor is interesting and there are a couple of escape rooms upstairs.
Very poor quality food, staff didn’t know what the meals were called to deliver to customer on our party. We all ate at different times, most had finished there meals before others had even received there’s, very very poor. Would not recommend for food, but a nice place for just drinks. Will not be returning

Very accommodating from booking the room till leaving! Made to feel very welcome and very fun! Age range of our group was 9-67 and everyone enjoyed! That much we are booking again hopefully for this week ? Escape room was amazing! Kids did better than the adults and they loved it

Excellent room, in a really nice pub / restaurant. The staff are all very friendly and helpful when needed. Perfect difficulty level to enable us to escape within the time. I would definitely go again.

Amazing place and atmosphere! The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely bottomless brunch, which was great value and we also sampled the sundaes! Have already booked again with friends and for our work staff do!?
