I have previously visited before they change management, and won't be returning after today's vist. Arrived at 12 45pm, was queuing for over 15 minutes as service was so slow. Finally got to till to be told by a miserable member of staff with no smile on her face that they have stopped serving food, no sign anywhere saying the time they stop food service to avoid people queuing for no reason, unles there just having drinks. She then said abruptly "are you having drinks or not." At which point I walked out and won't be returning!

Called in on Remembrance Sunday and the service was absolutely shocking. It took 10mins to serve each person! The place is run by dithering geriatrics, ended up walking out after half an hour.

My husband and I had a full English with a hot chocolate and latte. It’s one of the best breakfasts we have eaten in a long time. The hot chocolate and latte were also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely make this our go to place to eat. Thank you all.

From tomorrow The Hub is changing its opening times from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.. For the past four years l have gone to The Hub at 8:00 a.m , six days a week to have a coffee with a group of friends. 08:30 is not convenient for me ( traffic etc.) so l for one will have to find an earlier opening cafe. I counted eight customers in the Hub today prior to 08:30 but apparently that number is not viable.

Had a really good breakfast with a coffee. Service was friendly and food was good and didn’t take long to arrive. Really good value and definitely recommend.

The food was great. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was quiet, which is what you want for Sunday breakfast! Yes, open for Sunday breakfast!!

Great coffee and service but no gluten free options for food. Will go back but for coffee only which will mean return visits are very limited

Absolutely disgusting service, asked for no tomatos and then lady got annoyed and decided to use her hands to scoop my food out and transfer it to another tray and then decided to use hands to put tomatos into the bin with no gloves and without washing her hands, also lady who toke my order was coughing so bad i had to step away from the counter. Will definitely not go back to that place even if I was paid to.

We come on holiday near here and always pop into selby for breakfast. Our usual cafe is closed on a Sunday. I don’t know if it was an off day but the staff did not even crack a smile. Miserable as sin! We go stared at like we were aliens when we walked in. The food was nice but the service was, erm miserable. One of the female staff members was heard complaining it was her day off and she was in, and boy could you tell she wasn’t happy! A young lad came in at 10 to, I assume to pot wash etc and the 2 staff already in there ignored him. We won’t be returning, would rather starve! ?
