We ate early on a Saturday evening and we were lucky to get a table. The food is excellent and feels like it has been cooked with a little love. The mutton in the curry was superb. Side dishes are plentiful and varied. My wife had a Chicken Shashlik which she said was superb. Definitely will go again when next in Settle.

My wife and I dined here on Valentines night. Having moved from the area it was a few years since our previous visit. The staff are very pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome and our custom valued. The decor and furnishings are classy, upgraded since our last visit. We had onion Bhagis to start. They are the best I have had anywhere and I have dined at many Indian restaurants. For the main dish I had garlic chilli chicken which was superb. My wife had chicken tikka pathia which I sampled and which was equally superb. The dishes were accompanied with a plain naan and pillau rice. My wife was given a red rose on settling the bill which was a nice and unexpected gesture. The food was top quality at a reasonable price and I can’t wait to return. I recommend that anyone visiting the area or living within driving distance should give the Ruchee a try. They won’t be disappointed.

We class ourselves as regulars, Ruchee is my restaurant of choice in the dales. As always the food was excellent and exactly what we expect. However the service was very poor, we were seated 15 minutes before we had the chance to order poppadoms, and it was 45 minutes before our starters came. The restaurant was pretty quiet and there was plenty of staff so we were bemused how long things were taking. We waited 15 minutes for the bill, no hot towels/chocolates (can’t recall if we normally get them) Food 9/10 - service 2/10. Hope it was just a blip and hope to be back soon!

Absolute ripoff what normally costs around £55 at any other Indian takeaway cost me £75.75 and was terrible food. The curries taste like last nights throw together. They were all different curries but they all taste the same.

6 of us had dinner there, with various dishes, they were very authentic and very good. It is a BYO and they provided glasses and a clean up service for the empties. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we asked for a few of the dishes to be altered and they accomodated us.

Stumbled upon this little gem and had an amazing meal. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, the portions were plentiful and it was spotless. Would certainly recommend, definitely return when we visit Settle again.

We entered not knowing much about it. We recognised a lot of the menu, but we all were keen to try something not known to us. WOW.. What an incredible place. Staff were very friendly and ensured we were looked after. Speaking with Ibi about the pla e it was an incredible story. We entered and customers but left as as family

Came out with Family to visit the beautiful area of Settle. Visited the Ruchee restaurant to end the night with some very delicious Food! Staff's were very welcoming and attentive, wide range of curry selections, we was recommended the Hydrabadi and Desi Khana, food was absolutely Devine!! Ended meal off with some mocktails and mango lassi. Definitely would recommend this place, and we will be back very soon. Thank you Ruchee!

Wide choice of dishes on menu and the two we had were very tasty and spices not overwhelming just fragrant. Started with meat sizzler dish for 2 which was delicious. Good value for money and BYO added benefit if you want alcohol.

Had a curry takeaway here and the food was excellent. Freshly cooked giant bhajis which were very tasty, our mains chicken rogan josh, cooked to perfection. Woukd def recommend this restaurant for a lovely curry
