“We stayed over for 1 night here last Sunday... can not recommend highly enough... the rooms were spotless and generous size with clean bedding and fresh towels . breakfast was perfect.... we also ate here and can not fault at all the service was excellent even though it was busy.... would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone”

“We had a lovely dinner at The Talbot arms today, Sunday lunch was sold out (so get there before 3 pm for this)But I had beef chilli enchiladas with chips and salad and my Sister had Gammon Steak with chips and seasonal veg.The service by all of the staff was excellent, and they tended to our every needs.The food was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and piping hot, it was absolutely delicious, and fairly priced.We both had desert, Sister had bread and butter pudding with ice cream, and I had cheesecake with ice cream and they were very special indeed!I can thoroughly recommend The Talbot arms and will definitely attend again in the future.Excellent”
