gorgeous food and they went the extra mile to accommodate our large order. I wish it was local to us but we ordered while on holiday. I had the lamb tikka korma and it was to die for, Everyone else was happy with their food too although we are all used to a little more coconut filling in a peshwari naan.

This wonderful restaurant served the best meal I've had in a very long time. Started with their great onion bhajis, wonderfully crisp and fragrant..cooked to melt in the mouth perfection. This was followed by a mouthwatering butter chicken, vegetable rice, Saag aloo and peshwari naan. I couldn't describe how great this was. All served by Mohammad, warm, friendly and couldn't do enough to make our visit perfect. If you want a true taste of India.. this is your place!

Visited many times and never had an issue, however on our last visit we waited for two hours for food with extremely poor service as with many others whom were also complaining. Let’s hope it was merely a blip on this occasion as the food was lovely once it arrived but we were all past eating after waiting so long

Great Indian food with a varied menu. Service was faultless. We were early and the restaurant was quiet, therefore 3 stars for atmosphere. I am sure that later in the evening it would be much livelier.Food: 5/5

Absolutely poor.. the worst jalfrezi ever, it was a curry gravy, unflavoured chicken and chilli,No tomatos onion or green pepper.Chicken ticka tastless. Messed up our order and then came with what was missed after we had eaten. Usually they go over your order again to ensure they get it right. Would not recommend, only went as the other one had no space.. I wonder why??

We ate early on a Saturday evening and we were lucky to get a table. The food is excellent and feels like it has been cooked with a little love. The mutton in the curry was superb. Side dishes are plentiful and varied. My wife had a Chicken Shashlik which she said was superb. Definitely will go again when next in Settle.

Ate here on Friday night with friends and it was lovely. I had the Chicken Jalfrezi which was delicious! Busy place - worth reserving a table in advance.

My wife and I dined here on Valentines night. Having moved from the area it was a few years since our previous visit. The staff are very pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome and our custom valued. The decor and furnishings are classy, upgraded since our last visit. We had onion Bhagis to start. They are the best I have had anywhere and I have dined at many Indian restaurants. For the main dish I had garlic chilli chicken which was superb. My wife had chicken tikka pathia which I sampled and which was equally superb. The dishes were accompanied with a plain naan and pillau rice. My wife was given a red rose on settling the bill which was a nice and unexpected gesture. The food was top quality at a reasonable price and I can’t wait to return. I recommend that anyone visiting the area or living within driving distance should give the Ruchee a try. They won’t be disappointed.
