Lovely little pub in settle, the food is outstanding. The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted quite busy but didn’t feel overly busy and everybody was friendly. We even left our coat by accident and was able to retrieve it the next day, the owner Jeanette, was very, kind by allowing us to arrange the pick up.

Nice friendly pub with lovely home cooked food, can recommend the fish and chips. Also had a good choice of local ales.

I quite like this pub. It's a much friendlier place than the other two Settle pubs but the food was really disappointing. I ordered pie and chips. I should have asked to check but I hadn't anticipated that it would be so poor. Sloppy salty gravy with meat floating around and topped with a block of puff pastry is in no-one's culinary dictionary a pie. The chips were few- flimsy and forlorn. I'll go back as I love walking around Settle but I'll ask about the pie before I order it again.

Nothing wrong with this pub as such and the staff are a credit to this establishment.

The landlady though is totally classless and an embarrassment to herself and the hospitality industry. Avoid.

Good food, good service at a reasonable cost. Atmosphere was quiet on a Monday evening.

Good food, good beer. Sat outside in the beer garden which is great for kids and pets. Went back the next day where they accommodated a group of 19 (pre ordering was required) everything came out and the staff were really helpful would definitely return.
