Stayed here for 3 nights. Absolutely beautiful surroundings of natural beauty with plenty of walks on your doorstep. This hotel is a hidden gem! Staff welcoming and our suite was out of this world!Rooms: Our suite top floor was spacious & had stunning views. Had a large separate shower with a rolled top bath that again you could just look at the view. BeautifulFood & drinks: There’s a fine dining restaurant in-house or a local pub around the corner.

This was our third stay at the Traddock on the way home from Scotland.: the first visit was on recommendation from friends. Austwick is a pretty village in Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Traddock is a beautiful country house in the middle of the village. The rooms are beautifully furnished and so comfortable and the public areas are spacious and sumptuous. The service was exceptional from check in to check out. The dinner was delicious with a great choice of wines. Breakfast was also fantastic. The whole experience was faultless.

Booked a short weekend break with no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Payed for breakfast and dinner beforehand which I would recommend doing as it will save you some pennies. The room was small for the price but adequate for our needs and the food was as nice as the reviews and the staff were friendly.

Excellent service from the two bar ladies today, one blonde one brunette.I'd forgotten my purse, and my phone wouldn't pay, but they were lovely and patient while my husband walked back for his cash card. Even gave the dogs a drink. We had a great afternoon, thank you ?

After a day mountain biking we had originally hoped to visit the Gamecock but it was shut temporarily. We weren't sure if the Traddock would welcome mucky bikers as it was immaculate and looked beautiful. The lady at the bar could not have been more welcoming and friendly, and served us all tea and scones in the beautiful garden. We will definitely return

The perfect hotel, not too big, very comfortable and stylish and excellent service. Room was big and bathroom excellent. We stayed in Dale View but would choose a different room next time only because it was probably the noisiest because of its position at the head of the stairs. That said the hotel was always quiet by 11.00pm and sleep quality was good. Food in restaurant was excellent but you must book in good time or you will struggle to get a table. We were there in sunny weather and the gardens and terrace are great for an evening drink. 3 lounges to choose from and books and magazines to read. This hotel will be very cosy in winter time. Staff were very helpful and friendly and tried to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Perfect place for nights away to be pampered....enjoy, we certainly did. Congratulations to the management for creating a perfect hotel and thanks to all the staff.

A very lovely small hotel that gets everything right - loved the fresh milk and the delicious biscuits in the room every day - the breakfasts were terrific and the restaurant was excellent - very good fine dining indeed. This is a hotel I would definitely love to visit again. We were walking in the Dales and we haven't done all of them so a return trip is on the cards!

We stayed 2 nights as a birthday surprise and had an excellent weekend stay. The room was clean and comfortable, on the top floor offering a quiet and peaceful stay. We booked dinner both nights at the Traddock and both meals were excellent, flavoursome and unique. We opted for the brasserie menu but the tasting menu looked very good too. The breakfast was to the same standard and cooked fresh to order, with plenty of coffee, juice and toast. All the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. They looked after us well both at dinner and breakfast. The light touches make all the difference.

DisappointingGreat food but dining experience spoiled by location of tables some diners were seated in the bar area which to me is not conducive to fine dining. ( we would have refused to eat there) We felt let down by not being seated in the room that was referred to as the dining room after being asked to book a time for both dinner and breakfast. One waitress was very pleasant the other who had a broken accent was at times most unpleasant and not helpful as if she couldn’t be bothered .The meals were superbRoom had shower and toilet in no more than a cupboard and wash-hand basin in a corner of the bedroomVery comfortable bed and lovely bedding

Stunning Country House Hotel, in the most lovely and peaceful setting remotely located in the Dale's.Was a late check in and early check out, as we were attending a wedding in Huddersfield after a day spent in Malham hiking.Had the most wonderful view over beautiful countryside and the Hotels own gardens. The breakfast was delightful and the staff were happy to accommodate any needs. The rooms are well equipped, tea and coffee facilities and fruit provided.Plumbing was a bit "chatty" in our room, not a issue, added to the character of the house. Not the cheapest but worth it for a treat .Would be my first choice when back in the Dale's.Rooms: Well equipped, lovely views, quiet.

WOW. Took my husband for a surprise birthday getaway. Booked on to the DBB rate on one of the suites- absolutely amazing value for money. We stayed in suite 9 which was beautiful with fantastic views. We paid a little extra for the tasting menu and we were not disappointed, In fact we’d even go as far as saying it was better that a Michelin star restaurant we dined at recently. The gardens were immaculate and staff so attentive. We will be back!
