We come every Wednesday and it never fails to dissappoint. By far the best place to eat and drink. Food is quality and taste so good And it’s not expensive. Dog friendly aswell, by far the best pub in Skipton . Would highly recommend. Family friendly. Staff super friendly. By far the best cocktail and 2 for 1 on most cocktails

Had a lovely day out with a friend and stopped off at the Blackhorse to finish off the day. Lovely staff, great back garden overlooking the canal and a good selection of drinks. Can't review the food as we didn't order any but it smelt good.

Lovely staff , couldn’t do more to make my children happy, value for money and glorious spot by the canal.

We went in and we were not disappointed, my partner had a lovely ale, and the staff were so friendly! I have a gluten allergy and they went above and beyond to cater to that! The food was on point as well, top notch cooking! Would 10/10 visit again!

Always a good visit. Real ales on top form, food quick, hot and tasty - and the service great. Always worth a visit when I’m town!

Called into the Black Horse for lunch 17th June , I had the Steak , Ale and Mushroom Pie and I must admit that it was as good a pie that I have tasted in ages. Also like to thank Charlie and Chloe for the friendly service , nice to see such nice cheerful bar staff .

7.30 and very quiet. Served by Terri and Nia who were both charming. Food was, as expected, pup grub but served piping hot and looked appetising. Cooked by Suzanne and Mel. All said and done a pleasant experience and value for money. Will definitively visit again.

A simple and lovely pub lunch. Nice staff (Terri, Magda, Luke, Izzy, Ralf, Suzanne and Mel). Standard pub grub in a nice setting overlooking the canal. I'll keep coming back ☺️

Not visited this pub for quite a few years and the last time we did we had a good meal. I have to say I won't visit again. We ordered the steak and mushroom in stout pie. The pastry was hard and the contents fatty and it had been heated really quickly (probably in a microwave) The mixed veg was frozen veg and had no taste to it. The chips weren't too bad and the gravy helped. It was very quiet and now I know why. Would not recommend

Good service with our personal wishes met, excellent value food and drink, and the meal, although cheaper than most pubs in Skipton, was good. Excellent real ales. Well done, Terri, Sarah and Anthony.
