Bean Loved
17 Otley St, SkiptonOur favourite Breakfast/lunch place in all of Skipton. The food is always amazing and the service is quick. The menu is fairly tradition with a few items which are a nice twist on a classic.I'm not a coffee drinker so can't comment. On weekends its always busy so be prepared to wait.

Le Bistro Des Amis
1 Jerry Croft, SkiptonSafe to say that this is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We were a party of 4, and everyone really enjoyed their starters and mains. Service was excellent and food was out of this world, especially my seafood money bag (pictured) and great value at £24 for two courses on a Sunday. Thank you for a fabulous experience! Highly recommended.

The Secret Garden Bistro
Beck Hall, Cove Rd, Malham, SkiptonAmazing! Lovely restaurant which is also very dog friendly. Our pup had lots of fuss given to him by other guests and the staff (who did all ask first!) which he loved. The food choice was fantastic, and loved that it was totally plant-based (vegan). The sandwiches looked great, but I opted for the banana blossom fish and chips which did not disappoint! The place looks great and feels very plush. I wish I could have tried everything!Vegetarian options: All plant based, vegan

Burlington Restaurant
The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, Bolton Bridge, SkiptonThis was a Christmas present from our daughter. The setting is lovely, staff are excellent and the actual afternoon tea was in my top 3. I preferred the savoury items (saffron arancino and chorizo quiche) and the sweet stuff to the sandwiches. My favourite sweet things were the carrot cake (gorgeous) and the chocolate slice. The buttermilk scones were very tasty. Good choice of teas, I had Lapsang Souchong. They also did a great alternative for lactose intolerance. All in all, very enjoyable.

The Albion
27 Otley St, SkiptonThis is another great pub that we found purely by accident but was a cracking find. The beer was on very decent form but unfortunately wasn't a particularly good beer and not to my liking, to be honest the range was quite poor. The food was well cooked and had that home made feel about it, very nice indeed. Is it the best pub in Skipton, no, would i go again 100% yes.

27 Main St, Grassington, SkiptonLovely local bakery but try as I might I wasn’t going to get service with a smile . Shame really . I don’t agree with other comments that this is typical Yorkshire service . I’m from Yorkshire and I’m baffled at the grumpy service in this shop. Thankfully I only go in for bread and get plenty of smiles elsewhere .

Lemons
24 Keighley Rd, SkiptonStopped by as I was looking for the hotel I was staying at. Ordered the combo kebab and chips. Kebab had 4 different meats plus a samosa ?,all served in a naan bread and wrapped in foil so it stayed hot longer. Kebab was possibly one of the best I've had. Not greasy and all meat cooked perfectly. Chips were OK. Plus one of the drivers guys showed me the way to the hotel. Bonus!!Great service all round and fantastic value for money. Will definitely visit again when next in the area. 11/10 ?

Caffè Nero
40-42 Sheep St, SkiptonDid another comment mention the staff being racists at Nero's Skipton? absolute rubbish! Whoever wrote that comment is either a liar or just paranoid with a chip on their shoulder. I have been going into Nero's in Skipton for many years, by myself and with my friends - some British and some non British. I have NEVER, ever encountered any rude or blank faces from the staff. They are all very friendly and very helpful, offering a great and relaxing service. Keep up the great work and ignore these vile and shameful accusations from those with a chip on their shoulder .... or just randomly playing the racist card at every opportunity. In my and many other customer opinions, the staff at Nero Skipton are GREAT and deserve immense credit. They work very hard and provide a great service to their new and existing customers.
