Booked weeks ago for a weekend away in Skipton and when we arrived this eve it was closed.

We went to La Casita for the first time for our 7th wedding anniversary. Absolutely beautiful food, lovely attentive friendly service and very reasonably priced for exceptionally good quality food. So many dishes were highlights but we particularly loved the sea bass in saffron sauce and butternut squash in bourbon with goats cheese. Superb, we'll be back!

Great little lace that we tried for the first time this Xmas. Great waitress who provided good service. Gambas were small for the price but everything else was fine.

Very strange set up. Almost feels like the restaurant is half complete unless you sit upstairs. The food was ok but was very small portions even for a tapas. Considering the price I would have expected more on the plate. Even a glass of coke is expensive at over 4 pounds. I probably wouldn't return and wouldn't

We came for an early new year meal out. Food was ok but nothing exciting, we chose a good selection of the menu and were advised that it would come out when ready which was fine for our dining style in no rush. It took an hour to get our final serving of potatoes. We enjoyed our quiet meal together but unsure if we would try it again.

The service and atmosphere was dreadful - cafeteria run by children ! The calamari was the worst I’ve ever had! Staff were rude and unhelpful- never again!

Good food, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Visited whilst on holiday in the area.

A great tapas restaurant with a superb menu, one of my favourite places to eat in Skipton. The staff are super friendly and the space is really well designed and decorated. The music was quite loud upstairs on our last visit, an elderly relative couldn't hear us, but they moved us downstairs with no fuss, very accommodating.

First time here. The service was 100%. Very lovely staff. The food was amazing... every single dish was made to perfection. So so tasty and the drinks were lovely too!

Last Sunday of the month is all you can eat tapas for £25 per head, very good value with the same level of attentive service and quality on a full price day. Varied menu in a Daliesque setting in a quiet corner of Skipton.

I live in California, so I'm a little spoiled with Mexican food. I though the food was pretty good. When I ordered what was on the menu, "I'll have Albondigas soup" it was funny that I heard back, "okay one oxtail soup." Funny that at a Mexican restaurant, they weren't comfortable using the words that were on the menu.

Just been for light lunch for old lasses birthday! Really enjoyable lovely Tapas, and cracking service by a lovely young lady. Thanks for the food and the humour! Cheers Neil in Cobbydale !

Ok, firstly the food. All the savoury dishes we ordered were tasty, served quickly and hot and were very enjoyable. But … some of them we thought were quite small and, consequently, overpriced. When we asked to see the dessert menu we were told they didn’t have one but that they did offer two choices. The one we chose was a minute portion and rather underwhelming. The biggest issue we felt was the young waitresses’ lack of knowledge about the menu when we enquired about the various dishes. Plus when our desserts arrived we were left without cutlery and had to go and ask for some. No one person seemed to be coordinating the dining room. Perhaps these seem rather minor quibbles but our overall dining experience was affected by them. One expects the service to flow and be professional throughout but the lack of experience amongst the young waitresses prevented this from happening. Such a pity because the tapas dishes were good. The bottom line is that there are much better restaurants in Skipton so, sadly, we won’t be dining there again.
