Tasty Thai Restaurant in Skipton. In fact as a tourist, felt this was the best place to enjoy a tasty soulful meal after a nice hike to Malham cove. Food is all authentic and won’t disappoint one bit. Interesting ambience. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Every stir fry has a veg option. Also vegetables used are amazing

Lovely little restaurant with lots of attention on a fun and bold decor. Service and food was good with hot and generous portions. The atmosphere was a little lacking due to mid level lighting, fine for a friendly get together but wouldn't suggest as a date night venue. It also seemed to empty/close early which left us as the last ones there at only 9pm. Good vegetarian options and reasonably priced. The tofu massaman curry was delicious, recommend. Would happily visit again.

A simply fantastic experience from the second you step through the door. The food is exceptional and backed up by first-class service in a lovely setting. I'll certainly be back.

This is a great Thai restaurant. The interior is really interesting with lots of tigers and parrots, which is nice but more importantly the food is great and the service very good.

Great for a quick bite or an evening out with friends.Service was fast and there was plenty of space available to be seated. At one end of the bar there is an Adults only are a that allows large screen watching of sports.Optional seating outside on wooded benches or high tables under a pagoda, both areas have outdoor heaters and cover from any weather.

My partner and I went to Thai Basil yesterday and let them know while booking that we would require vegan options. Was told then that they will notify the chef. When we arrived, everyone was very welcoming. The waiter informed us which options on the menu are suitable for vegans. The dishes were absolutely fantastic, very filling. I had the red curry, my partner had gang massaman and we shared a starter. I had to pack some to go and ate it at home later. The prices are reasonable. Will definitely come again.

Really nice tasty food but the jungle decorations, stuffed tigers, parrots etc were not to my taste. It is a lovely old terraced house which lends itself to a more tasteful decoration.

What an amazing little restaurant!!! So many small details in decoration around the room that I couldn't stop taking pictures and trying to get the other guests in the room. Good portions, super tasty and super affordable prices. Service very efficient and friendly. Waiting time for drinks and food were between 5 a 10 minutes! Super quick!

Had a lovely meal here. Everyone was very happy with the food. Lunch is a really good deal for value. The restaurant is fabulously decorated, it's an experience all on it's own ....fabulous ?

As a Thai chef, i must say there are not many truly authentic Thai food around that i think it's good but Thai Basil Skipton is one of the exception. Food tastes excellent and staff are fantastic. I will definitely come back when I visit Skipton again and would recommend this restaurant

Well we booked a table for 9pm and we arrived 9.15pm. Took the staff over 10 minutes to take our order - when we finally placed an order the waiter said ‘Do you mind if I bring starters and mains together because the kitchen closes at 9.39?’ We had ordered spring rolls which was served with no additional cutlery offered - the tables are served with spoon / fork - so no knife offered to eat spring rolls. Plus the gentleman toilets do not have a lock and there was wee all over the floor. Overall a massive disappointment!!£
