It’s a no from me. Quite busy upon arrival, young staff who looked nervous whilst moving around. Sat outside as no tables, asked to move inside literally after we ordered to be told a firm no that’s not allowed (?) no reason given. Cakes were Costco standard and overpriced drinks. Service from ‘manageress’ was appalling who actually sneered at me as we left. Disappointing as looking forward to an afternoon treat. £20 for 3 drinks and 3 cakes…because it’s Skipton - Skipton not St Tropez dahhlings. Unacceptable behaviour by the manageress and her oversized striped cardigan sleeves dangling in the cakes as she prepares them definitely contravenes some hygiene laws.

This place has my heart always, I always go here with my mum and nan or with my best friend for a drink and a cake, the food is lovely, the service is great and the environment is always clean and they have such pretty decorations. I can't fault it at all, you really get what you pay for

Drove out to Skipton for a.lovely afternoon and spotted this place, absolutely gorgeous food and cake, I had the afternoon tea which did not disappoint!! The food was great, hot chocolates to die for and we were waited on by the sweetest young lady called Grace who made us feel like we were at home sharing wonderful personal memories and stories with us, what a pleasure it was to be in your company X

We visited here and decided on afternoon tea. I can highly recommend. There was plenty of food and it was absolutely delicious. The Hot Vimeo was very good. We too more cakes away for the rest of the family. The atmosphere was very whimsical and although it was busy that staff were attentive and polite. There even a little area outside (undercover) where you can sit and Dogs are welcome. Very enjoyable afternoon.

First time trying this cafe and never again! Upon arriving we were told there were no tables even though there were. After pointing it out we got a table. Service for ordering was really slow even though there were staff standing about everywhere. Ordered three toasties to get them all inconsistent. One had lots of cheese, one slightly less, one barely any. Crisps given with toasties were all random and I was given prawn cocktail despite being allergic to the flavouring. Ordered drinks and got them in weird bottles with straws. I can’t use straws as it makes my ibs worse. Went up to order cake and was told someone would come take my order. 15 minutes later they took my order. Asked for two plates and two forks. Got neither. Cake was meh. I find the supermarket finest much tastier or my homemade cake. Paid and the bill was pretty high for what we ordered. Would not go again!

A nice tea room with a warm ambience and awesome staff. Their Blue Lady tea deserves a specially mention for it's outstanding quality and an unforgettable taste, which we really enjoyed. Also, big shoutout to Grace for her lovely smile and the sweet nachos suggestion !!Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, waffles, nachosKid-friendliness: We had a little baby with us, and they were very accommodating

Very disappointed. The cake portion was small for the price and nothing special. My daughter’s waffle didn’t look fresh, covered in squirts cream. There are plenty of better places in Skipton.

Happy to revisit our regular stop in while visiting Skipton. Good value and quality. Note this is a triple decker sandwich. Always friendly service.Vegetarian options: Basic cheese or egg mayo but amount of filling is excellent.

We love our visits to the cake ole, they never fail to make us feel welcome and the cake and drinks are always lovely. Special mention to Grace who always greets us with a warm smile and takes great care of us, which is so helpful when you have a two year old and three month old.

My friend and I were visiting Skipton and we’d seen this place on social media so had to try it! Situated within Craven Court Shopping Centre (reminded me of Diagon Alley!!) The feel of the place is very funky and comfortable. It wasn’t too busy when we rocked up but nearing lunchtime it was completely packed which is a recommendation in itself! I had a mocha and a piece of Nutella cake and my friend had a cappuccino and a bagel, all delicious, best mocha I’ve ever had I would say! All prices are very reasonable and staff were polite and seemed happy to be there. Service was quick also! Definitely worth a visit if in Skipton!
