Very attractive pub in fabulous place, mixed service standards. Can be the downside of being in a very popular tourist attraction where one doesn't have to rely on regular customers ?Food & drinks: Food was excellent but drinks service not so good! When requested a top up on half a pint because it was below the line, attitude from bar staff was very arrogant and dismissive and refused to meet my request! Absolutely dismayed and definitely not Camra standards. Pub needs to remember who the customer is!

Really nice old fashioned dog friendly pub. Can get fairly busy. We went on a weekday and still pretty busy.

One of the best if not THE best pub in the Dales (IMO obviously). We stay there with friends frequently. The food is gorgeous, the rooms are sumptuous but the standout for me is the service: the staff are just wonderful. Friendly and courteous, nothing is too much trouble. Certainly not our last visitRooms: The rooms are of a very high standard both in the pub or the attached barn. Always feel like we are the first people to use the room.Nearby activities: Goredale scar, Malham Cove, Malham Tarn and Janet's Foss are all within range depending on your abilities. Visit Airton farm shop for luxurious treats to take homeFood & drinks: The food could be considered the usual 'pub grub' except for the fact that it is made to such a high standard. I can never chose what to eat as I know it will all be fantastic.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch here 110224. Such friendly staff in a very busy environment who could not do enough. The crumble was to die for! Great atmosphere and experience.Nearby activities: Malham Cove, Jenets Foss, walks and beautiful countrysideNoteworthy details: Obviously a child, dog and walker friendly pub as well as for families and groups. Lovely outside space.

Nice Local pub , great location, happy to find Guinness on draft, that's where the fun ended, barman couldn't even be bothered to do 2 part pour, ended up with 2 inch head, pub was too busy to complain, and I had just walked for 4 hrs,Didn't stay for another pint.

Far better beer selection than the Buck. Malhams's best pub.
