Amazing! Lovely restaurant which is also very dog friendly. Our pup had lots of fuss given to him by other guests and the staff (who did all ask first!) which he loved. The food choice was fantastic, and loved that it was totally plant-based (vegan). The sandwiches looked great, but I opted for the banana blossom fish and chips which did not disappoint! The place looks great and feels very plush. I wish I could have tried everything!Vegetarian options: All plant based, vegan

We ve been a couple times and always had a lovely meal, but last time I booked a Sunday lunch for my mums birthday and it wasn't great. The food- Sunday lunch came out cold. We sent it back to be heated up. The brocoli was raw and the mushroom Wellington had very little taste. It was clumpy.Desert was nice. One thing also to note Car parking is now only allocated for people staying overnight, so we had to park in the overflow field due to Malham being very busy.I did contact the restaurant directly about the raw and cold food but had no reply. For the price it was we were disappointed.

It's in a lovely spot by the river. Enjoyed a coffee and hot chocolate here 2 years ago. It's now gone 100% vegan, which isn't well advertised, we only found out when ordering and decided to move on.

Sadly only food available was all vegetable based. We didn't realise until we arrived and given most of us prefer meat we choose to move on. No meat based options "vegan only"

Lovely take on vegetarian/vegan cuisine. Great venue with welcoming and accommodating staff. Will be back when next in Malham.

We were staying in Malham and the Secret Garden was only a short walk. We had a very enjoyable dinner, both of ordered the sea bass which was very good. I was looking forward to the treacle pudding for dessert, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations, otherwise 5/5. A comfortable restaurant with good friendly service.

This restaurant has suddenly decided to force all customers to eat Vegan !It's NOT sufficiently signed, and after ordering a steak baguette, a chicken burger, and two lattes it was, to say the least, a shock to be served plant based versions, and latte made with oatmilkI tried my best, the taste wasn't too bad, but the bland gooey texture was distinctly unappetising, and I couldn't finish itThe prices (never cheap, but acceptable for the excellent food they served up until a week ago !), seem to have remained about the sameIt's a real shame, but the "eat what we decide, or go elsewhere " attitude, does not sit well with me, and I and my friends will not be returningIt seems unreasonable to be unprepared to offer the customer (who in this case is clearly NOT considered to be always right, or indeed to have a different opinion to the management !) A CHOICE as to their diet !

Excellent plant based food, well cooked, presented and above all very tasty. The setting by the river, the decorations and great friendly and efficient service made for a really lovely evening. Two very good vegan beers (Ilkley brewery). What a delight to have a whole menu to choose from!

A fabulous little find after a long walk around Malham. This restaurant is cosy and friendly, and the food is brilliant! The menu was incredibly unique and included many plant based options. It was also so nice to eat somewhere other than a pub with our dog.Vegetarian options: There are many plant based options on the menu, not just a token couple of meals.Dietary restrictions: The staff asked for any dietary requirements before we were even seated.

Now called Beck Hall, and an absolute treasure of a place. Food is top-notch, service and atmosphere all fantastic. Prices are great, and being on the river bank makes it feel magical. So glad we happened upon this place and considering we were a group of 8 with a couple of vegetarians and one gluten and dairy free, there were 8 empty plates. If you are in the area and don't visit, you are missing out.

We stopped off here after a little ramble around the area. Sitting by the stream and eating a potato pakora wrap was wonderful. The service was great. The dog was welcomed and the food was delicious. If you don’t have to eat meat to enjoy a meal then this place is terrific.
