I have visited Other Bianco ristorante and there was much better food and atmosphere so sorry for only 3 stars but I was disappointed.

A slightly discombobulating experience. The staff's attempts at banter were awkward and embarrassing and my daughter's carbonara was weirdly sweet as if made with condensed milk. Shame, as I've had mainly positive experiences in this and the Northallerton branches before, and the prices for the early bird menu are pretty good.

Travelling back from Whitby to Nottingham today we decided to divert to Thirsk and stop for a bite to eat, we chose Bianco Ristorante and what a good choice, my wife and I had a traditional Sunday roast (one chicken, one beef),very nice, very tasty, well presented,definitely worth the money and definitely worth a visit, thank you.

Arranged a date night on Saturday which was long overdue, we were both looking forward to it. Table booked for 7.30pm all good, we felt that we could do with a earlier sitting so rang the restaurant to see if we could get a 7pm sitting. We were told that it would be difficult and that we may have to wait a while before our table came available. No problem.. we arrived at the restaurant at 7.08pm due to not being able to park as the square was busy, as we entered we were greeted and asked for our booking ref. The gentleman then processed to tell us that "SHE" my partner had requested a 7pm table which was correct at the time. And due to the fact we were 8 minutes late for our table he had given it away to another couple.. I fully understand this situation but to call my partner a "SHE" I found downright unacceptable. And given that our original booking was 7.30pm we were not given any kind of help to get us seated or even accommodate us. I will never use or recommend this restaurant as I found the manner of the situation was not dealt with in the correct way and found it very insulting to have my partner called a SHE..

Great Italian. Vibrant atmosphere, attentive staff and lovely, great value food.
A victim of its own success, the atmosphere is loud rather than buzzing. If you wanted an intimate date night, you are in the wrong place. Tables around the doorway end up having expectant diners and takeaway collectors milling around them.
