Gastropubs in Thirsk

“We took advantage of the lovely autumn weather and decided to do a short walk from Felixkirk and afterwards had lunch at the Carpenters Arms.We were both immediately impressed with the quiet and beautiful location with far reaching views. The interior of the pub was warm and inviting, clean and well decorated throughout. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our table which overlooked the rear garden and a grand view.We ordered our food, the pie of the day and the pork belly, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed and will certainly have again. The staff were friendly and happy to help.Overall a great dining experience and location.David and Deborah Brown.”
