I have had to put this under Tesco Cafe but feel their home delivery needs reviewing as I would hate for any one else's holiday gett of to the start ours did. We booked a Tesco's home delivery two weeks prior to our departure. On the day of delivery we received an E mail saying our order was out for delivery. The money for the order was taken from the account We arrived at our holiday destination in plenty of time to receive our delivery. Our delivery slot came and went despite numerous phone calls and the promise a manager would contact us none did. Following are last attempt to contact them and we were on hold for half an our we gave up at eleven o'clock when the store closed we gave up for the day wondering if we would get our delivery in the morning. In the morning we received an E mail telling us our order has been cancelled and the money would be in our account in a few days. As Tesco says EVERY LITTLE HELPS Telling us our order is out for delivery when it is not doe's not help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Taking the money out of the account for a delivery we are not going to receive doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Telling us good news you can collect your shopping when we phoned which would have resulted in over an hour's drive did not help our contract was for you to deliver. If you had said you were unable to deliver we could have collected it when we were in Thirsk when they told us our order was out for delivery so we dashed of to be in time for delivery doesn't help EVERY LITTLE HELPS Offering a woosh voucher doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Promising someone would get back to us and having spinless managers who can't deal with unsatisfied customers doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS The same spinless managers cancelling our order via E mail rather than speak to you doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Having to wait for you to put the money back into the account when we now have to go out and buy shopping again doesn't help. EVERY LITTLE HELPS Finding Beadlam Grange for breakfast (as we had no food) where customer service was the norm . They fitted us in despite being busy and resolving problems did help EVERY LITTLE HELPS Going to Aldi in Pickering with helpful friendly staff to get what Tesco's so spectacularly failed helped. .

12 years over the legal age for alcohol! The old goat at the till asked for "one" of our I.D's (my brother and myself). My brother now has to waste time and go out to the car and get his I.D. Finally gets back and the lady tells him she doesn't care about him, she wants to see the I.D "of the person not paying for it." Refuses to give her name out... I asked her so if an old man bought alcohol and was with his grandson, the grandson needs to show ID as well... Tesco, you need to start checking on education before hiring people, because god you have some dumb people working at your Thirsk branch!

I went to the Tesco store in Kingsbridge. The entrance is in a blind spot. And the exit is basically the entrance. You have to go all around, so if you park near the entrance you have got to go around. Thats my first faults. My second is when you go inside the store the staff are milling around talking to eachother, ignoring customers who PAY THEIR WAGES. I was going to buy more than I did, but they don't make customers welcome. There is NO DISABILITY ACCESS FROM THE RELEIF ROAD, steps to the store. There are steps either end of the car park of the store. I begin to wonder who owns Tesco. Certainly not a Devon company. The manager for the Kingsbridge Devon store is more than likely from Devon, so if anyone is not from Devon they don't get the job, yet they have got a job so why do they come across so unwelcoming? I feel that I don't want to shop at Tesco in Kingsbridge Devon.

I'm registered disabled. I dont walk well. Disabled bays are limited. I parked close as possible to store entrance. No official bay to park. Full with unqualified parking. After over 43 years of loyal customer patronage I get a miserable ticket for being in the wrong parking bay that was reduced . This is also after approaching security at front door to explain my parking issue. I still got a ticket / fine. This is a very fine way to treat a customer. Despicable. Disabled customer at that. Have you paid all your TAX dues in recent years ?? RSVP. would be grate??!!

I bought my mum 2 sprays of carnations on the 6th November 2019 and she has told me that they still are looking gorgeous and have not wilted to date. What a great purchase they were. My mum is thrilled as they are her favourite flowers and can't believe I got them in a store. Well done Tescos and thank you. Susan Robson

This is a small cafe for Tesco stores but the warm and friendly staff there make it a pleasure to visit.

We've stopped here several times over the years to fill up with petrol or to buy a few items of food when we've been passing through the area. The store itself seems to be quite a good one with a fair range of reasonably-priced Tesco goods on offer. Parking is good and overall we've no complaints about the store. Where we came a cropper, though, was in trying to fill up with petrol. The petrol station is on the other side of the road from the main store and it's not immediately obvious when you see one how to get to the other! Perhaps better signage would help. All in all, though, this seems like a fairly typical Tesco store.

Located just outside the town centre, this medium sized store has ample parking. I've always found the staff pleasant and happy to help and can't fault the customer service. They have an extensive Polish range to fulfil the needs of the growing polish community in the area and stock a good range of local products from local cheese, sausages and deli items. Since Lidl have had their plans accepted to build a store next door to Tesco, more special offers and price cuts, showing the Tesco price being lower than Lidl/Aldi, have sprung up and this healthy competition can only be a good thing! I have found however that there area lot fewer Tesco value items and more of the newer discounted brands which are actually more expensive. There are sufficient tills and 4 self service checkouts but at key times there can be hefty queues and more staff aren't called to open more checkouts until the queues are excessive (rather than stopping this beforehand). All in all, this store is one of the better Tesco ones I've visited and has an adequate range for most lifestyles and worth a visit.
