Quaint little local shop with many refreshment. Great atmosphere and service which made me feel like I just went over a friend's house for coffee & cake. Did not try the soup or the hot food yet, but will do next time when I stop by this area again!.

Popped in for a bite to eat last week. Sonia was amazing. Had a delicious ham cheese and cucumber sandwich with Branson pickles as per her recommendation. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning :)

What a beautiful little find! Had the most amazing piece of lemon cake which melted in the mouth. Good job we don't live nearer or it would be my downfall!

Moores is set in an idyllic position overlooking a small stream that runs through the beautiful village of Thorton. The delicatessen has some seating inside and out, but is quite limited so there maybe a wait for a seat. Had a lovely cup of tea here, but they offer a range of food and drinks. Service was very friendly, will return in future.

Popped in for a coffee, it was excellent, proper coffee . Decided to have some lunch and we were recommended the morrocan soup, it was absolutely delicious best ever served with home baked bread and real butter. Beautiful little spot by the stream, French style tables and chairs lovely setting. Service was so friendly, home baking, pastries cakes etc. Well worth a visit we will be back. Thank you xx

We visited this little treasure yesterday afternoon, when we took a drive to Thornton le Dale ( we were holidaying in York). What a lovely, pleasant, welcoming couple, and their gorgeous wee dog Bertie! I had a slice of a really tasty homemade quiche, hubby had a lovely, tasty homemade sausage roll. Beautiful pot of strong tea, traybake. I just love, the traditional tea set also. And a lovely view as an added bonus! Reasonable prices. Thank you very much! We hope to visit again some day x

Small tearoom and local produce deli. We had hot drinks and delicious homemade cakes served by the lovely Sonia. There are only a few small bistro tables inside so get in quick if you see a vacant table. There's a good range of cakes available with all dietary needs covered plus a lovely selection of hot and cold light bites including soup and salads. Opens on Sundays too.
