“We stayed in a holiday cottage just around the corner earlier this month and went to the Peacock for beers on 2 nights. There was a real fire going, and a warm and friendly atmosphere- all the locals said hello when we walked in with our dog, and chatted with us like we were old friends. The beer was great, and very reasonably priced. Our spaniel (or ‘Espanol’) Carlos, was treated too, with pets and snacks from behind the bar. Lovely pub, and we will definitely return if we are in the area again.”
