Main St, ScarboroughStaying at St helens caravan park. Looking at walks and noticed this cafe with the bonus of having 2nd hand books for sale. We set off. Lovely walk through Ruston. Next stop Brompton by Sawdon. We can see why people would miss it as its on a corner so not easy for parking. Met with a very warm welcome. Coffee was lovely I even had a choc chip cookie. While waiting for coffee to cool down I had chance to browse. Found one to buy. Lovely talk with owner. 2 coffees 1 cookie 1 book total £8. You wouldn't get that at waterstones. Brompton by Sawdon is lovely to walk around too.
