Can't rate this place enough. Visited for breakfast and easily catered for two coeliacs and one vegetarian. Absolutely blown away by the menu choices for gluten free. Food was astounding. Staff were brilliant, friendly and fun. Thank you so much.Vegetarian options: Easily accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets. Lots of choices.Dietary restrictions: Loads of choices for coeliac / gluten free diets.

Very popular little spot, grab a seat if you can! Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Food was superb, Mexican eggs were truly lovely and set me up for the mornings explorations. Highly recommended!

We had such a warm welcome here, the staff were absolutely lovely and gave our dog lots of fuss too. We enjoyed the delicious Mexican eggs for brunch along with a glass of prosecco. It was the perfect place to start the day. Highly recommend.

Been to The Cranberry Swamp several times now over many years but this was tge first time under the new ownership in March and to my delight....nothing has changed....It continues to serve great food and drinks in an awesome atmosphere with great staff....And all in gluten free option too ?

Fabulous food and lovely laid back atmosphereToday I had a gluten free burger with all the extras. Staff are kind, patient and lovely. Food superb. Fantastic breakfast and great service I had a vegan breakfast of scrambled tofu and it was marvellous. With a super oat milk cappuccino. They were busy but really speedy and super nice. Hope I get chance to visit again.
Amazing breakfasts - we went two days in a row they were so good. The pancakes are well worth a try!

Fantastic place! The full English breakfast was amazing and we had it two days in a row! Coffee great too ? The owners who haven’t had the business long are doing a fantastic job! The lack of staff due to there being a shortage in Whitby (evident in lots of restaurants) makes it difficult for them, they overcome this with a friendly happy attitude ? Keep doing what you are doing and we will be back very soon ?

Nipped in for brunch, a bit disappointed to say the least. Had avacado and poached eggs, was faced with some green slime which was not nice, wife had kedgeree not edible. Coffee just drinkable, service pleasant but didn’t make up for the crap food

The food was gorgeous. I had the scrambled egg on toast with cheese, onion and bacon filling. Never tasted scrambled egg like this, fantastic.Although they were short staffed, they were very pleasant as they were very busy.

Cranberry Swamp was recommended to us by our host at the Airbnb. By far the best coffee I’ve experienced in the UK. The breakfast menu is great, it’s really good service and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the porridge with maple syrup and flat white coffee.
