Amazing little bakery and coffee shop too. The lady who served us was so lovely and chatty. She was interested in us and where we came from etc and recommended this weeks special offer which was a cup of tea and flapjack for £2.50. What amazing flapjacks and coffee , so fresh and tasty. Excellent value for money too. Thank you for our lovely afternoon treat

Having found this cake/coffee shop in Whitby, we bought some flapjacks, brownies, cherry Bakewell. Wow!! What value for money these are? Absolutely amazing & tasty. Our first visit was on Saturday. Very friendly lady served us. On the Sunday, we decided to go and buy some more cakes from this little gem of a shop. The lady behind the counter even remembered me from yesterday. We bought these to take back home to Leeds. Highly recommend a visit to this shop, you won't be disappointed. Will be visiting again when we come back to Whitby. Sharon from Leeds.

Cafe not actually open for staff problem, but the scones we bought were very nice, a part of that I guess if the cafe will be open next time and serving the same food we bought, would be pretty nice as service and atmosphere aswell...

We popped in here to take away two Whitby fatties and a piece of nutella flapjack. Tiny place, only big enough for 2 people to fit in and you can't walk around, you queue outside then go in, choose what you want and they get it for you. Both the flapjack and fatties were nice but not amazing.

We’ve been coming to Whitby for 9 years and found the fruit and cheese fatties while we’ve been here. They are brilliantly huge like a scone but much more satisfying we’ve coming back for both the cheese and fruit. Thank you x

On holiday from Edinburgh and discovered this wonderful bakery. The owner Helen is such a lovely friendly person and she couldn't have been more helpful. We had lovely coffee and delicious cheese scones which her husband Mark bakes and they were absolutely fabulous. We sat at a table with benches in the marketplace area opposite the bakery. We enjoyed it so much we were back again the next day for the same again. On each day Helen topped up our coffee which was so kind of her. The coffee and scones were very reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend a visit to this bakery.

The ‘Whitby fatties’ in the windows caught my eye, large scones with cherries and fruit in. Then noticed how reasonably priced this was! Offering a takeaway scone, clotted cream and jam for only £3.10. I purchased this alongside a cake, another scone and a cup of tea which was only £8.20 , this shocked me. I ended up in conversation with the most lovely lady who turned out to be the owner, about how it was such good value for money! Her emphasis on the value of the business lifestyle wise outweighed the financial gain for her and her husband was so refreshing. I will definitely be making this place a must on my Whitby visits going forward. Cream tea itself was unreal!

We've often walked past this cafe and thought it looked good, and this year we decided to try it out - the only thing we're disappointed in is not coming here sooner! The lady who runs it is lovely and the food is beautiful. The Bakewell slices in particular are great! Special mention of course for the Whitby fatties! Fat rascals have been a staple of Yorkshire since the 1800s, and these 'Whitby fatties' are so tasty and filling - highly recommended!
