Stumbled across this place by chance and what a find. Lovely atmosphere in the place. Staff so friendly. Food was great and very reasonably priced. We ended up making several visits during our stay in Whitby. Lovely homemade soups and cakes. Highly recommended

A lovely dog friendly cafe. The menu is good and they cater for gluten free eating. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable.

We had coffee and a cake each after a brisk walk on the beach. Nice café, good coffee. The Bakewell tart was a little hard on the base but the lemon cake was good. Friendly staff, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly. Worth a visit.

Always head here when in Whitby, lovely dog friendly cafe off the more beaten tourist track.

Great tea, delicious scones, amazing service and an outdoor seating area. What more could you want?

We are locals so we are familiar with most of the cafe's and coffee shops in Whitby. Stokers is the best. Very dog friendly, plenty of seating and space around your table, lovely staff, great coffee and the rocky road was THE BEST we have ever had. And we've had a lot! There is a fantastic selection of fresh cakes/scones etc, made in-house as well as sandwiches, panini's etc for lunch. And the pricing is extremely reasonable compared to many of the eateries in Whitby. We will be returning for sure.

It was raining heavy in whitby on the day we visited, everywhere had huge queues and the prices of food was extortiate. We had our baby with us, running as fast as we could to find somewhere to shelter when we came across this cafe and what a god send it was. Thanksfully as they are off the main part, they had tables available so we stopped for lunch. We both had a brie, bacon and jelly sandwich which was gorgeous with a side salad and a hot drink. With your drinks comes some shortbread which was so yummy so I bought a bag. The cakes are made here and look fantastic. There are baby high chairs if required. There are steps down to the toilets which are clean. Great experience from the staff and lovely food. Highly recommended.
