Eaten here tonight and it was fantastic! Last minute table secured as they had a party booking. Warm welcome by friendly staff. Great beer and varied food menu. The chicken curry was amazing. Good value too.We’ll be back!

A few miles out of Whitby just off main Teesside road. Well worth the trip. Extensive and varied specials menu to add to a good normal menu. Very busy on the night we visited. Food good, service too. Reasonable prices.

Try out the giant Yorkshire pudding with either chicken or beef with gravy, veg, and chips or potatoes - they have this on everyday and it's gorgeous.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food. Very accommodating for children. There's also seating outside in the back garden.Parking: There are a number of parking spots right in front of the pub, and free street parking.

Squeezed us in on a Friday night & were very accommodating, brilliant quick service & the food was just perfect. Very large portions - we went away very full with a takeout pudding instead! Great home cooked food, you couldn’t possibly leave disappointed! Thanks very much
