Gastropubs • “We have eaten here a few times but it was our first Dinner B&B experience of Alice… A lovely welcome from the charming, assured and highly professional, Nicole! “Pub” room was a great size with a splendid bathroom. Nice touches which not everywhere does anymore…bubble bath is you wish to soak, water, milk and freshly baked biscuits. A light on a sensor in the bathroom so you don’t have to search for a switch during the night. Dinner was very tasty with a good choice of different meats and fish…vegetarian and vegan choices? No idea. Who cares. A very good nights sleep followed. Breakfast was a veritable feast with many choices and all the while being looked after by the attentive Nicole who seemed to appear just as you needed something. Bravo! It’s not cheap, but nothing is anymore, and we think if you compare it to other places aiming at similar people, it’s up there. Well worth a visit. Thank you.”
Gastropubs • “It wasn't very warm or cosy in here but had nice views across the river. A nice, bubbly young lady who served us. I had a mocktail, which was tasty but had too much ice in the glass. Would have preferred a non-alcoholic gin but they didn't have one! Loads of space to sit and chill out.”

Staff were very friendly but also noticeably busy so wait times between courses and drinks were sometimes a bit longer than you might expect, but take that as an opportunity to relax and enjoy.”
