We stayed here for bed and breakfast, the room was really nice and cosy, nice big bed, bathroom was small but modern and very clean. Tasty full English breakfast, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Hopefully we'll be back for an evening meal next time!
We were looking for somewhere to eat on our way to York and ended up finding ourselves here.The place is very picturesque from the outside, the lights on the buildings really look the part. Went for Sunday lunch today. The venue is stunning and the service was relaxed but attentive. We had goats cheese croquettes and king scallops as starters, followed by duck breast and roast beef for main course. All 4 dishes were outstanding. We'll be returning very shortly.
