The food, as always, was first rate. The atmosphere in there is casual without being bawdy, and the staff are attentive without being overwhelming.Thus is why it's always my first choice for an Indian restaurant in york.

I had a three course meal starter, main, desert it was £35 couple of hours later I threw up. I haven’t felt so ill 90% sure it’s food poisoning ?

The worst curry I've EVER part eaten in my life ! Sauce was like Heinz tomato soup with sugar and cream thrown in ; special fried rice ? Absolutely appalling NOTHING SPECIAL AT ALL fried white rice with chick peas WOW I think NOT ,Given it one star as that's as low as youcan give ! Would have been zero if the option had been available :HIGHLY NOT recommend !

Hands down the best Indian in York. Eat here or get a takeaway at least 3 times a week, everything always perfect.Dietary restrictions: Always cater for restrictions. Eg I ask for less oil.
