Great to pop in when in York. We didn't know about the Tuesday quiz but arrived just in time to join it (and then win a bar voucher). Our colleagues who'd been there longer said that the pizza was good. Must have been as they didn't save us

Very nice venue. We went for lunch. Real home made pizzas with a wide choice of toppings. You can even see the Pizza Oven if you sit in the back of the building, where It's very light and airy by the way !. Good value-excellent food and real ales. Very nice ! We'll definitely visit again and would recommend it.

Be careful paid for drinks with a twenty pound note and was given change for a tenner. Questioned and barman denied it. Won't rush

Just had a lazy Sunday afternoon in the rear bar. Super range of drinks and super looking main course food. We only sampled fancy snacks but all were very good.
