Went to the Three Hares for Sunday lunch with three friends. Very warm welcome and pleasant surroundings. Starters (we all had the pate) were very generous portions. We all chose roast beef (again large portions) which came with Yorkshire pudding, mash, and roast potatoes, carrot and parsnip. Our jaws dropped when additional dishes of red and green cabbage, cauliflower cheese, French beans, and sprouts, arrived at the table, with extra gravy! The desserts were equally fine and beautifully presented.. The service was excellent and we all agreed the meal was excellent value for money. It was a birthday celebration for one of our party and a perfect start to the day. Well done and thanks Three Hares, ... we'll be back!

We pre-booked for a party of ten at 1:15 Saturday. Unfortunately three arrived at 2:00. Nevertheless , the food for all ten, in due course was well presented and piping hot. The wide variety of generous dishes were relished by all. Compliments to the chef for the quality of the meals, and the good service, considering the the complication of the late arrivals. This was a special family occasion and the Three Hares did us proud. Thank you very much, I’m sure we will be back.

An awful experience. Chef not working, people drunk in the bar. Bar staff making excuses as to why not serving food. The place was dirty. Staff trying to pacify customers as to why food not being served and recommending other pubs. This is the second time this has happened. We had been recommended. But will not return. Staff disinterested. Tables sticky, toilets dirty. Five of us would not return unfortunately.
