Visited early on a Friday evening. 7pm. Serving staff extremely pleasant. Food came quickly and was as you would expect from this chain of restaurants. Clean premises.

We absolutely love Wagamamas. It's a fantastic (chain) restaurant, amazing fresh food with clean, lightly lit seating. However, we were tourists visiting York and the staff made us feel so so welcoming. They gave us advice about where to go during our stay and where to go to achieve what we wished. Genuinely exceptional staffing and food in an already fantastic restaurant.Vegetarian options: Most main dishes can be changed to become vegetarian or vegan, and there are also some that are exclusively those.Dietary restrictions: They can provide lists of the dish components and allergens if asked.Kid-friendliness: Excellent, healthy kids menu which includes a limited deal; colouring page and crayons provided

Visited with a friend a few weeks ago and had a great experience. The manager was so knowledgeable and accommodating of multiple tricky dietary restrictions. Our server Jasmine was amazing too, so kind, attentive and made our evening! We would both visit again.

First post pandemic shopping trip to York. Needed lunch and luckily the first restaurant we visited was full. Then we remembered Wagamama. A well organised queue saw us seated in 5 minutes in what for us was a new layout.Staff so professional. Both my wife and I were about to order our old favourites when we both had a change if mind. My wife went fir the mackerel and I went for chicken, garlic and ginger, rice dish. We were both delighted with our choices.Great service, clean, bright environment and healthy, tasty food . Wonderful!

We have come to Wagamama in york a lot as everyone in the family like it. This time I was really disappointed compared to previous visits. The prices have gone up, but the portion size for some of the dishes has also shrunk. My pork ramen dish was mainly noodles, a bit of veg and a very tiny amount of meat. So really scrimping on the premium ingredients, and therefore not at all worth the price. The service we had was adequate but not particularly warm or welcoming. Just a teenager doing her part time job and not really liking it. And they had run out of green tea. It just all felt a bit underwhelming.

This specific Wagamama location needs to improve. Waitress was very curt and was very eager for us to finish as quickly as possible despite the restaurant still being away from close 1.5 hours.Food was alright however have mad much tastier dishes at other locations.

Visited last night: beef ramen basket was tasteless and the staff didn't even bother to check on me during the meal (I thought it was Wagamama policy to do it). Restaurant wasn't clean properly. Bad experience overall.
