i visited the golden lion over the xmas period and the pub was busy but still had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere when i entered i went to the bar where i was served quickly the bar person was friendly and had good knowledge as i knew i wanted a gin but not sure what kind i went with there recommendation and really enjoyed it .we then went to find a table to order food which was delivered to us quickly and to a high quality i would definitely recommend the golden lion to...read full review

We have eaten in this Pub on many occasions, normally for Lunch, but chose to go for an evening meal. We were pleased with the choice of food on the menu, the staff were very accommodating as we required a high chair, and they were very helpful throughout. Food came out hot and even though it was the busiest month of the year, the staff remained pleasant throughout. Would really recommend this Pub

We stopped by for dinner and drinks one evening and we're so glad we did! The pub is super cosy and the staff were super friendly! We would highly recommend going through at least one evening, and they have great choices for holiday dinners and gatherings as well!
