I visited this Zizzi whilst in York on Saturday. My server, Elena, was very attentive and knowledgeable with any questions I had. The meal was also delicious and great value for money!I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to York :)

My friends and I went for dinner tonight and the food was wonderful as always. Ruberta was amazing and so down to earth, she definitely made our whole dinner experience better. 10/10 would definitely go back :)

Went on Saturday night at 7pm, hadn’t booked. On arrival, not many tables taken so didn’t think it was a problem. Then the waitress advised us that they had no pizzas!! 7pm on a Saturday is really not acceptable. As we were there we thought we would have pasta, we asked if that was all that was unavailable and she said yes. On choosing our meals my husband went for the King prawn Spiedini only to be told we have no prawns left. So we chose the garlic bread to be told no we don’t have any of that left. What about Bruschetta I asked , she wasn’t sure about that so went to ask and came back with yes just 1 left. When the starters arrived my Bruschetti arrived it was the smallest I had ever had and was like to end slices of French stick and really dry and tasteless. The mains, my husband had Wagyu Meatball Arrabbitta and he said they were extremely dry. I had the Six-layer lasagne – which definitely wasn’t 6 layers. Just as we were finishing our mains, a waitress arrived at the next table with 2 lots of Garlic bead, we were not impressed. We only stayed here as we frequent the Norwich branch of Zizzi regularly and so know the menu and its always been amazing there but this was definitely appalling. The staff all seemed disinterested in what we had to say and some were getting their bags and coats on to go home at 8pm, I assume because they were running out of food. This branch needs a definitely shake up. Go to other Pizza establishments when you are in York
