“A friendly, country pub. The meal's we had we're delious. You need to book. Thks to Liz. The toilets need a few hundred £ s spending on them. Or demolish and re build them. Would eat there again. Thank you.”

“Fantastic local pub with community spirit that can host local games and clubs, as well as airing national games like football, rugby and darts. Whilst they don't serve food, all drinks are well priced and the current management have clearly made a lot of effort to overhaul the beer garden and sports/events bar.”

“I went with 2 friends and their dog. They were stopping off as part of a long journey so we needed a quick meal. We received an excellent welcome and our drinks and meal were delivered promptly as requested. The presentation of the meal was first class and lovely to eat. The meal was excellent value for what we paid.”

“Tommy (who used to work at McColls) is awful, a proper nasty character and despises you for taking parcels, and gave me a right ticking off about buying things online. The rest of the staff are lovely though, and feel sorry for them having to put up with him, no idea how they employed him. If you don't have tommy though, they are quick helpful and reliable.”

“Great food (the ultimate burger is a must!) and a good location.Service was a little slow, but I believe that was down to them being slightly understaffed - although two tables could frankly have been kinder to the staff when talking at them (not too them) about their table.”
