I really enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is very clean. The menu reminded me of a typical menu in Portugal and the food was as good as any meal I have had in the Algarve. I had garlic prawns to start with. The bread I used to mop up the sauce was just like I have on holiday. I then had their daily special of pork medallions in mushroom sauce, which was delicious. The creme caramel pudding was obviously home made and excellent. I will definitely be eating here again. Don't let the outside put you off what is a great restaurant inside. It is also really good value for money. The service was also great by a lovely waitress, who is from Lisbon.

Lived here for over a decade....where do I start...have you ever been somewere that you thinkyou know or you have deja-vu for a moment...that was before the food arrived. Every dish was well spent complimentary time with my wife...no rush to eat but it's not often I sit down and actually enjoy the flavours and the dish. This is the place to do it. Many places have hidden gems...this one is a must. Underated under wrapped and under expressed. a place to enjoy your food and time on planet earth with some great flavours...especially if you look beyond your own time...those dishes were formed through times gone by. those flavours are a blast from the past...just enjoy.

Fantastic little gem. Great food and a varied menu to cater for all tastes. My tip.. Try the pork based meat dish for two. It's awesome. The service is always very good. Just the right balance of friendly professionalism. I love A Tasca and will continue to visit.

We had a meal for my partners 40th birthday there was 15 of us. The service was exceptional friendly and very attentive staff. The food was hot, fresh and tasted lovely there was a mixture of meals and every one of them was delicious. Everybody left very happy and will be back Thanks for a lovely evening! X
