But when clutz boy (me) sent his flying (barely missing the wife, seriously it was like a Norman Wisdom movie). Was given another drink despite my accepting full responsibility and offering to pay.Service was amazing, atmosphere welcoming and quality for the budget excellent.”

Staff were very friendly and had great customer service.Parking: Lots of parking bays and some disabled spots close to entrance.Kid-friendliness: We had 4 children of various ages under 1 upto 13 years. Staff were helpful and obliging with 2 that are particularly choosy about sauces, removing foods etc.”

“Very nice and cosy place. Staff is most welcoming. We could choose the desired seat. Cocktails and sushi were amazing, definitely something I would have again and would recommend.I found music slightly too loud, that might be because the speaker was above our table, it might not be as loud if you sit at a different table.Place has a fireplace which I love.Parking: Free car par, with plenty of spaces just outside the building.”

“Daughters choice on her 12th birthday. Waitress was friendly and warned us about waiting times on some dishes but in all honesty didn't think we waited that long. Food was very nice and portions good. Couldn't eat it all. All came out hot. Was lunchtime so not sure how it would be when busier, only about five tables sat at when we where there which was a shame as nice restaurant and atmosphere. Would like to experience it in the evening but overall a nice venue. Had been before a while back and thought the food and menu had improved.”

“Authentic excellent quality Italian food served by thoroughly nice staff. You can sit by a fire or dine in the conservatory. Great open to view pizza oven! I recommend The Castle and we will certainly be dining there again.”

“The delivery was really quick (under 30 mins) which is really surprising for a Saturday. The food itself is pretty tasty, the munchie box is a fair portion at a reasonable price, my only negative comment is that the salt and pepper chips just taste like regular chips. I would order from here in the future, however I'd want to go into the restaurant and sit down to get the full experience.”

“One of the better and nicer Wetherspoons out there. Great breakfast. Struggles a bit sometimes with staffing and the busier evenings can attract groups of older males who don't seem to mind swearing lots with kids around! But really is a good pub, well priced and I am a regular visitor. Toilets always well kept. Free coffee refills = awesome.”
