Fantastic quality food excellent value for money and superb service . Independents are the best and beat the chains hands down every time .

Visited with my friend for an impromptu visit on a Monday night. They weren't too busy but there was a nice atmosphere still. The waitresses were very kind and attentive, and the food was great! Very tasty and great value for money. Will definitely be returning! :-)

We have just been in today for Sunday lunch, the food was absolutely lovely. Service was a little slow in-between courses, but the staff were nice and friendly. It was a little smoky in the dining area from the kitchen, i think it needs better ventilation, but overall a lovely afternoon. Thank

Went for a meal last night we ordered two starters only to be told after the event that some items weren't available please make customers aware what is available and what isn't .main meal arrived spaghetti bollognase decent enough my partners meal was fillet of beef in tomato and penne pasta fillet was overcooked but the best was the drinks two 20cl bottles of prosseco when were charged a mind blowing 18.50 these bottles retail at around 2.50 to 3 pounds but to be charged 9pounds 25 pence per glass is totally unacceptable profiteering at its worst a rip off on a grand scale will never recommend this eatery to anyone absolute shame on you

We visited La Fonte today in Corby and it is an Italian restaurant. On first impression on the outside, it used to have a menu and it used to look welcoming but over the past year or two there's been no menu outside and no signs other than a small sign from the inside saying "Open".But coming in it was fairly quiet and we were given the option to choose where we wanted to sit. All of the tables were very clean and we then ordered our drinks my partner had Coca-Cola and i just stuck with tap water. For starters, i had the "Funghi Gorgonzola" which was Mushrooms cooked in our signature rich and creamy blue cheese sauce, served with grilled ciabatta bread. I thought this was delicious and it was quite light and i enjoyed the flavours. It was very well done.My partner had the "Caprese Salad"Tomato, mozzarella & basil drizzled with balsamic dressing. He said he had enjoyed it but looking at the plate it felt the price wasn't right, this was £6.95! For five thin shards of mozzarella cheese, it felt like it was overpriced for what it was.My main course was the "Pollo al Limone" which was a tender grilled chicken breast, served in a deliciously light and refreshing white wine and lemon sauce. I thought this was lovely, this was a winner in my book. Tasty and genuinely enjoyed this. Plus the vegetables and roast potatoes were great too and it was lovely. My partner ordered the "Lasagne Della Cesa" and he said this was nice, i did have a bite and it tasted like a classic lasagne with no frills. It's a solid Italian dish that was excellent.Overall it's a lovely place, we had a good time and would recommend this place for those who enjoy an Italian setting especially right in the heart of Corby.

We ordered pizza and it was so oily and some of the listed ingredients were not even there. Maybe the chefs were busy but still... we remembered our visits from the past and there was always great food, so this time we felt disappointed.

Severs were pleasant but didn't seem to understand much and ended up giving me cream in a dish after I asked if it had any dairy and asked for the butter to be replaced with oil - it was not. The burger was literally just two patties in bread, nothing else. It was shocking. The price is ridiculous for the awful quality. I would strongly recommend avoiding this "restaurant" like the plague.Dietary restrictions: Don't trust the menu or their willingness to adapt anything, never eaten out where they just don't even understand the menu when you ask questions. Honestly, you'd be better off going to a Wetherspoons...it's that bad.

Busy little restaurant, very friendly, this is Corby, known for its friendliness. The food was hardly authentic Italian, but it leant that way. It was lovely, a good portion and very reasonable. Parking is a little erratic in that area, although there is a Pay to park,( even at nightime which seemed strange)All in all a good experience.

We were made to feel very uneasy, restaurant was empty by 9 o’clock. The staff had cleaned the tables around us. Kitchen lights were off and this was only 9:15. Staff stood behind bar with keys in hand and looking at us as if to say “how much longer are you going to be”. Food wasn’t very hot, no one came to see if our meals were ok !! Have to say we won’t be back.
