We had fish and chips from here tonight. Fish was hard and chewy and chips soggy. Ended up binning it, probably the worst fish and chips we've ever had. Won't be returning. Wasted £15

Sadly the chippy's of old are being wrecked by the economy... The prices are becoming ridiculously high. Fully understand it's not the oqnwers fault but it's getting to the point "chippy chips" are fast becoming a luxury meal rather than a weekly treat.

As a long time customer I am sad to say that this will be the last time. Over the course of the last year the prices have increased exponentially and the Small cod is now so small, its almost not worth it. Add to this the price of a carrier bag is now 20p and its cash only. To feed two adults now costs me over £30 and I could do a weekly shop for that.

A great place to go for your fish&chip experience, all the food is brilliant. The staff are so friendly and helpful. And there is plenty of parking and disable parking outside the shop. What more could you ask for!!!! ?? .Parking: Plenty of parking outside the shop with disabled parking too.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out, also there is a window open to the pathway so no need to enter the shop.

Can be alittle hit and miss, but todays food was fresh and tasty!Lacking alittle warmth atmosphere wise, in the sense that I said hello twice before I was acknowledged (only one other customer) I suppose it is just food, but I always saw fish and chips as a treat, something to get excited about, small point but it just made me think " oh yer, its just fish and chips after all, silly me, up there with buying a cabbage from lidl really".?Tip to staff, big hellos and big goodbyes, come again soon! Enjoy! Etc do make a difference.

Went here with my dad on Thursday which my dad likes talking to the owner whos always friendly to his customers, I'm guessing hes the owner who cooks the fish ect. My dad always likes talking to him about his fishing everytime we've been in lol. We was amazed by the quality of the food it was outstanding! the fish was cooked beautifully the portions you get are very good quality and for the price too. he was even kind enough to cook a batterles fish which my mum strongly enjoyed and everything else was to perfection. The staff was super friendly even tho they was busy they still provided great customer service as we didn't wait long either, Will definitely go here again soon. Highly recommend ?.

Beautiful Chip Shop, I did find it a bit pricey, I understand they have overheads to cover though. Really lovely staff.
Excellent fish but be aware the portions are massive.
