Had a reservation booked for 18:45, stood in the area you wait to be seated for 15 minutes, place didn't look busy at all but nobody came to see to us.Ended up leaving, unable to find any spaces at other restaurants so just went home, big waste of time.Won't be trying here again, that's for sure!

Beautiful place, big portions and lovely Christmas decorations. The portions were very adequate to the price. I would even say they exceeded expectations.

Always come here for me and my partner's date nights. Always get chicken souvlaki in some kind. Chips are amazing. Tzatziki is just like Greece. Cocktails are always perfect and taste amazing. Love that they always have different themes on. Jade and Geoff and the team do an amazing job. Thanks will be back soon.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Disabled toilet no steps

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Olive, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a charming corner of the city, this restaurant immediately caught my attention with its elegant and inviting ambiance. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a culinary treat. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Restaurant Olive were incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel at ease as soon as I entered. The interior design was tastefully done, with a blend of modern sophistication and rustic charm that created a cozy and relaxed environment. Now let's talk about the star of the show - the food. The menu at Restaurant Olive was an enticing fusion of Mediterranean and international cuisine, offering a wide range of options to cater to every palate. As a seafood lover, I couldn't resist trying their grilled octopus appetizer. It was perfectly tender and packed with flavor, complemented by a delicious tangy sauce. For the main course, I opted for their signature dish, the lamb tagine. The meat was succulent and cooked to perfection, with aromatic spices that made each bite an explosion of flavors. The accompanying couscous and vegetables were equally delightful, adding a refreshing balance to the dish. The presentation of each plate was impeccable, showing the chef's meticulous attention to detail. The flavors were thoughtfully balanced, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes that left me craving for more. And to top it all off, the dessert selection was a grand finale of sweet indulgence. I couldn't resist ordering their homemade tiramisu, which was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of coffee and cocoa. In addition to the exceptional cuisine, Restaurant Olive also boasted an impressive selection of wines and cocktails. The sommelier's recommendations perfectly complemented each course, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The attentive staff were knowledgeable and eager to suggest wine pairings that would enhance the flavors of the food, further elevating the overall dining experience.Overall, Restaurant Olive is a hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations. With its charming atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouthwatering cuisine, it is a destination that every food enthusiast should explore. Whether you are looking for a romantic date night or a memorable dining experience with friends and family, Restaurant Olive is the perfect choice. I will definitely be returning to savor their culinary delights again soon.

We visited the Olive restaurant today in Corby and honestly, i think i just discovered my favourite restaurant. I booked the place via their website and i was advised when i needed to leave before booking. When arriving i stated my bane and we were given ample options of where we wanted to sit and i decided to sit by the window. We decided on having some Rose wine, to begin with so i had the Ombrellino Pinot Grigio Rose bottle which originated from Italy and was a soft pink with a purplish hue. A balanced wine with afresh and pleasant notes of cherry red fruit and slightly ripe forest fruit. It was very refreshing and we thought this was delicious, especially with our meals. For my starter, I had the Moules Mariere which was priced at £7.95 and this was a classic French style mussels in a white wine, garlic, parsley sauce, served with chunky toasted ciabatta. Delicious, i do wish they automatically gave me a wee bowl to out the discarded shell but the sauce was very tasty and i ended up drinking all of the sauce. A winner. My partner for his starter got the Tapas Trio priced at £8.99 which included the favourite tapes in one, honeyed chorizo, patatas brava and a spinach & feta parcel with tzatziki. He enjoyed this and the tzatziki dip was very fresh and well-seasoned.For my main course, i opted for Surf & surf which was pan fried fillet of cod topped with Moroccan spiced prawns with garlic, buttered new potatoes and summer Mediterranean vegetables. This was a little more spicy than i had anticipated but i thought it was delicious nonetheless. My partner got the Chicken Parmesan Pasta which was a breadcrumbed chicken breast topped with a rich tomato sauce. He thought this was a very good combination with the chicken being incredibly seasoned and the pasta balanced it out well.We decided we were so impressed by the place and ended up having a dessert so we went with the Orange and Amaretti Trifle which has layers of biscotti, orange citrus jelly & custard topped with a Chantilly cream. This was delicious and light too, it was just perfect and well-flavoured. The only issue was it wasn't big enough haha.Thank you for a wonderful dinner, we enjoyed ourselves and it didn't even feel like we were in Corby and we were transported to Greece for a while.

Friendly welcoming staff. We ate here on a Saturday lunch time. Food was very good with several vegetarian options for us. I'm sure the atmosphere would be great for an evening when it's probably busier. We'll be back ?Vegetarian options: We had the tagliatelle and mushroom filo pie dishes.

I hate to say it but it was a huge disappointment, perhaps because we were late, but the two Caesar salads had nothing to do with the Caesar salad. There was some lettuce, a few croutons, two tiny pieces of bacon or whatever it was, and chicken with a sauce that looked like someone poured it over a can of crushed tomatoes with no seasoning. Apparently the grilled chicken looked undercooked. They served the same cocktails twice and although they were supposed to be the same, they tasted different. Unfortunately, the second time it tasted like water. It was a great disappointment for us, after which we felt sad and disappointed. It was a sad dinner that was meant to be remembered as something pleasant due to the company's 5-year anniversary.

Olive Restaurant. First class. Great ambience. Amazing food. Value for money. Excellent service. The only downside was the air con not working.

Little gem of a place! The service was outstanding, the food was divine! This place is seriously underrated and deserves a lot more credit! The atmosphere would undoubtedly be incredible if the word spread about how good this place is. Came with my husband but will be bringing girls night over to try out their tipsy tapas/bottomless brunch.Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian / pescatarian options - cannot comment on vegan.
