A fine "estate pub" on the edge of Daventry with a warm welcome and descent ales. We went afternoon but it was getting busy for Wednesday curry night £10 for two trips and the selection looked fabulous. Made a mental note to pop back when I have more time.

Warm welcome in The Peppermill, service was great, food was amazing (went on a Wednesday night curry night and the food was amazing) Loved the atmosphere too.

Over £26 paid for a meal that was nothing like the photos, only 2 choices at 4 pm, turkey, and pork, large burnt Yorkshire, warm on the outside, cold in the middle, veg? Burnt and uncooked, roast potatoes, not roasted, uncooked, and very small amount of pork. So over £26 paid, after refund? and ate half the Yorkshire, pork cracknell, and a few of the roast potatoes that were eatable. Worst meal, and for the price we have ever had. And to be honest, people having the other meals, they had plates full of beef, mash, and gravy. We had a pittance. Oops, sorry, I had a beer ? tasted like vinegar, one sup, and left it. We were offered a free pudding, was a disgrace the worst Sunday lunch ever, and most expensive ?

Had the Sunday carvery...a real feast...3 meats and a mountain of hot delicious potatoes, mashed and roasted...loads of veg...and a pudding for a tenner.All served hot be smiley staff in a friendly pub.Definitely one to return to..thanks.
