We have dined twice in the space of three weeks, we highly recommend, the food is elegant and flavoursome, presentation is on point as is the decor. The staff are attentive, helpful and polite a massive thank you to Susie, Sean and Lenni for their services. Chefs in the kitchen, I'm sorry I didn't get your names but keep up the great work and we look forward to returning soon!!

A few of us on a crawl thought this was the place to be for real ale in this area. It is also a highly regarded and friendly food pub

Fantastic food and great service in a beautiful setting. Can't recommend this place highly enough. The venison pithivier and sticky toffee pudding were the highlights, but it was all delicious. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

Went for a drink for my friends birthday recently. We was greeted by a nice chap called Will who made us feel welcome. He was knowledgeable and provided a great service. I would definitely recommend visiting. I will be back to try the food next time as it is meant to be great.

An unplanned visit to this pub as looking for somewhere new. Lovely table in a nook in the snug. It has that lovely homely feel. We skipped the starters (just as well). Main course of lamb and chicken. Both dishes were exceptional, and the side of roasted Savoy cabbage was inspired. Chocolate fondant and an assiette of three well real 4 deserts and ice cream capped off a superb meal. This pub and restaurant is a hidden gem and is very highly recommended.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. The blade of beef didn't need a knife, it just fell apart. The giant pigs in blankets were also a joy. The staff were exceptional and a special shout for the barman and his black forest martini. Try it yourself and you won't need a dessert.
