An interesting experience eating in a bunker style environment - good local friendly staff.

Love The Blitz. Took our son for lunch on his birthday. Baguettes and Ploughman's lunch. So tasty. Lovely staff and great atmosphere.

What an amazing Tearoom , the vibe, the decor, the detail down to the crockery&cutlery, the china, the menu, the furniture et al!!! The staff/owners, who are definitely not from the 40s!, were really helpful, solicitous, very efficient and polite, nay charming! The jacket potatoes, with fab fillings, were great and good value! The cakes afterwards, were delicious, but thereby hangs a tail?! Rooms were very clean and tidy, with a good range&quality of food! Fast, efficient service and always a warm smile from the staff! We talked to the two women owners, who were charming, very interesting &especially when talking about Armenia. Funny too. We shall be back! The Blitz is a quirky, fantastic place and we felt honoured to have been there! Thank you so much! Xx Maggie ?

Just got home from a lovely visit to this charming little tea shop. The food was delicious, we had two cream teas and a slice of carrot cake each and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and service was very quick and good value for money! Looking forward to returning with my parents one day for afternoon tea!
What a lovely little place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food and drink. The crowning glory is the atmosphere though. So many period touches and memorabilia you could almost be back in the 1940s. There's some really interesting pieces, many of which will have you saying "my mum had one of those!"Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be coming back again.

Visited The Blitz Tea Room and Jazz Lounge and was thoroughly impressed! The 1940s theme is executed brilliantly with authentic decor and music. The Churchill Afternoon Tea was a delight, featuring delicious homemade sandwiches, scones, and cakes. The tea selection was superb, and the staff's friendliness added to the already warm atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone in Kettering looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Well presented tearoom but unfortunately one of our cups had a huge crack. The food is basic but our toasted sandwiches were tasty. The addition of what looked like salad cream on the lettuce spoiled it for us. The waitress was very friendly but too quick to clear the table, despite the tearoom being quiet. My husband is hard of hearing and the piped music above us didn’t help.
