The Palmichael

Had a fantastic dinner at The Palmichael recently and will definitely making another visit. So glad to have found somewhere nearby that does great food and the service was fabulous too.

Taste of India

Very nice Indian restaurant with friendly staff and a nice vibe. The food was lovely, really tasty and full of flavour. Loved my boiled egg and it went well with the green chillis and my onion rice. A little slow service but it was busy there so to be expected. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area !

Kushboo

The atmosphere here was perfect, very relaxed and had a real homely feel. Staff were very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. The food….. the food was sublime!!!! Had a few dishes I haven’t had before but it was to die for. Great restaurant, great food and lovely hosts! 10/10

Park House

This pub near Kettering is a "Marston's " pub. Called in here for an evening meal, with my friend on the first night of our weekend break away from home. The meal didn't disappoint. After ordering at the bar, the food was brought to our table fresh, and hot, and well presented, about 40 minutes later, by a really nice bar person. She came back a bit later to ask if , everything was ok with the meals, which it was... Would recommend, it's in a lovely old style building.... Good experience with the toilets too , as they were "pristinely" clean - which is very refreshing.

Mexican Fire Garden

Cannot fault my experience of this restaurant. Service great, atmosphere cozy, food huge portions & if it beats you like it did me they give u plastic boxes to take food home, so great value.Great selection of food & knowledgeable staff.Thoroughly enjoyed my evening. Well doneAlso has vegan & gluten free menus.

Visited with my husband, child and dog, such friendly genuine service, feel welcomed as soon as you arrive food was brilliant for the price, tasty and fresh! Our dog was also given a sausage, which he was very happy about! ? Thank

Casa Di Roma

First time in Casa Di Roma, what a gem ! Only regret we have we not been here before ! Phoned in to book a table last minute and thwy managed to accommodate us, the service was brilliant and the food was just something else! Me and my partner had starter each amd also pizza to share all for starters ? my prawns were so fresh and tasty cooked to perfection! The pizza was also very fresh and so so tasty ! We both had a pasta dish as main, and omg the steak and mushrooms pasta was to die for ! 10 out of 10 for service and food, we will definitely be going back and couldn't recommend this place enough ?Thank you for finding a table for us and thank you for amazing food ! Well done !

Franks Pizzeria

Absolutely brilliant night at Frank’s. Although short staffed, they done a wonderful job for our Xmas Family gathering. With 20 guests, the service and food was excellent. Georgina even took time to play with the children. Well done all at Frank’s, and thank you very much.

Star Inn

A friendly village hostelry with well kept ales and good value for money food that is well cooked. Lunchtime special prices make it even better. Glad we found it!

Pig and Waffle

A small unassuming cottage in this picturesque village is hiding a secret, the secret is excellent food and service.We had done our research in advance and knew we wanted the tapas menu (although I was tempted by the brunch menu it sounded delightful) we ordered a selection of 11 dishes to share between 3 of us, was it a little too much (possibly) but we didn't let any go to waste. Every single dish was tasty and well cooked, the pork belly bites were to die for, the lamb melted in your mouth. Amongst the Frito misto were some lovely mussels, and lovely crispy whitebait. Too many dishes to list but all were amazing. The dessert selection was also good, and we each enjoyed our choices, the cheese cake was the winner though, so good.Staff were all friendly, and service was quick and efficient. This is a place we will definitely return to, may brunch next time, but the tapas would be hard to ignore as there were more things I wanted to try.

The Wheatsheaf

Came here for Sunday roast and was as good as had been told, nice staff and obviously a great kitchen team. Every thing was spotless. Definitely coming back when next in the area...Parking: Large car park at rear plus plenty of room on local streets. A few local 'selfish' parkers I noticed parked away from the kerb to make access into the village awkward...we had to fold our mirrors to get past 2 cars by the church!

Bella Sicilia

I have been to Bella Sicilia on a few occasions and the food and service is always absolutely fantastic. Food comes out fresh and the team are very attentive. Prices are also very fair!

Toro Steak House

Food was amazing and for a steak restaurant I thought the food was a fair price.The service was really good, I only knocked off a star because we had to ask for another round of drinks (it's something that bugs me a bit but seems to be happening everywhere lately).If you're in the area and want a really nice dinner, the pop to Toro, I doubt you'll be disappointed (well unless you're a vegan).

Queens Arms

Best place in Burton Latimer for good wholesome food at reasonable pricesAlso good for drinks and chillingLast summer they had live music in their garden area and hoping for the same this summer.

Hobsons Choice

Food was great, the menu was very varied and was properly priced, BUT desserts are overpriced, dinner for two can be £11.99 + desserts at £5.49 ea is £10.98. Not value for money however we will visit again as the food was really good.

The Beeswing

Visited with some locals and was amazed at the great service. Team were happily singing along to songs being played with other bar staff being most accommodating. Food came quickly, was plentiful, hot and most tasty indeed. We were checked on a couple of times ensuring all was good. I'll be looking forward to my next visit.

King Kebab Kettering

Food here has always been amazing. Massive portions and really tasty. Best kebab in Kettering. Service is friendly and the place is spotless clean. I would definitely recommend ??

Frydays of Kettering

First time visit, cod & chips were cooked beautifully, unfortunately no choice of garden peas, only mushy or curry sauce. We sat in to eat, was £20, for 2 of us freshly cooked food, a proper cup of tea, & an orange juice. Will definitely be going back, going to try & make it a monthly visit for sure. Lovely friendly polite staff as well.

The best authentic Italian i ever visited in england, great service, amazing staff and the food is just amazing. The pizza is a must try. I will defenetly go back !

The Axe and Compass

Very enjoyable impromptu visit with the Mrs. The beer (Timothy Taylor Landlord) was good and the Sunday lunch was excellent. No beer garden to speak of and a small car park, but the outside benches catch the afternoon sun, which was nice. Staff are very friendly. A pleasant hour spent on a Sunday afternoon!

The Wama's Lounge

Food and atmosphere was amazing! We had shisha and then food in the restaurant. The waitress was a bit rude when I asked her to take the ice out of my water she gave me an attitude and looked at me like I asked her to do something very difficult ?. She brought back the glass of water without ice and told me there you go princess. I have told her to do not call me like that as I do not find it respectful coming from her after my simple request. She then replied again with an attitude mhm okay!. That ruined the evening literally. Will be back though as the shisha was great and the food too. Hopefully she will learn to behave by then and apologise.

Ocean Bay

Used to be my regular but since moved house. Still visit when I'm in Kettering. Food tasty, all staff are lovely, chatty and very accommodating with huge portions.

Spaghetti Rock

Incredible Italian food cooked by an absolute master of his craft. My wife and I visited on the rare occasion we had a babysitter and were blown away by the quality of the food. Extremely reasonable prices, better value than a lot of the so called Italian resteraunts and far, far superior. We were welcomed and treated like family by Claudio, he is an amazing host and chef and this really is a hidden gem in Kettering. Thoroughly recommended, cannot wait to return and try more 10/10

Hai Sushi Japanese Food Takeaway

My go to place for Japanese food in Kettering. I usually order off uber eats or Deliveroo, but as the fees all mount up AND the food is more expensive, thought I would go and pick up in person.Absolutely delicious as always. The salmon crunch roll is delicious, as was the chicken teriyaki bento box which comes with miso soup, pickle, salad, rice and grilled chicken teriyaki.Recommend the mini spring rolls too, and love the salmon sashimi, so much I always have to order two portions.Thank god there is now fresh sushi in Kettering!

Cafe Amore

Cafe amore is the best restaurant I’ve been to in my life. Such a homey feel and great atmosphere. We got free sauces on the house and the food was cooked like Gordon Ramsey made it. The waiter was so cool incredible customer service. Would recommend to a friend.

The Red Lion

This pub is superb, lovely location, decor and vibe. We went for dinner here and the food was fantastic and the service brilliant. We had salmon and the bbq pulled pork/duck for starters. Then the lamb kebab and pie of the day (pork & chorizo) for mains. All was excellent and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to coming back in the summer as looks great to eat outside. Great pub, great food, check it out!

Subway

This was my first experience in this Subway (beside the old Bingo Hall) as they have closed down the one on the main drag unfortunately.Lovely fresh food and good traditional service.One of the lads ran out the back, as I came in with Sally Assistance hound, and could be heard yelling out "He's got a dog!". So I started calling out in response that "She's an assurance dog, a working dog, and is not a pet!" The manger came out and checked out her working uniform, and give him his credit, didn't say anything about her Sally and only said "What can I get for you?"Hot tip pay the 10p for a bag, as unbeknownst to me I ended up wearing most of the sauce from my sandwich on my clothing! (I wondered why the Asian couple, walking past my picnic bench in the sun, were laughing at me! It seems I believe that they were laughing at the sauce I was blissfully unaware that I was covered in!)Parking: The shop is located in the pedestrian zone so there's no close parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Thai Garden Cuisine

Called into this restaurant without a booking on what was, clearly, a busy Friday evening. They managed to seat us but, fairly, told us we had only an hour or so to eat as it had already been reserved.There's a wide-ranging menu with something to suit most palates. My wife went for the satay chicken and we shared a plate of noodles. Hers was lovely, as were the noodles. I went for the king prawns in ginger, garlic and lemongrass (which was described as moderate heat on the menu). Such classifications are subjective and, to me, it was quite hot but, having said that, the flavours were immense. Beautifully cooked, the prawns were exactly right, not overcooked as in so many other places, and the blend of garlic, ginger and lemongrass was perfect with each being perfectly balanced.If heat is an issue I'm sure the chef could tone down the chillies but, for flavour, it was phenomenal.

Best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time.You know how sometimes takeaway food is just warm? Not this meal, food still hot even after driving home.Fantastic value for money and nice big portions.Loved it!

The Exotic Dining

The food was delicious, very flavoursome. The service was good, very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature in the restaurant. We were a party of 5 and we all commented on how cold it was to the point that everyone kept their coats on. It was such a shame as everything else was great.

Looking around Kettering for days trying to find a decent place to get a full English breakfast. Finally finding Julie's café. This place is great, the food is amazing and the table Service is really friendly. For the food itself, the full English is really well made and tastes fantastic with plenty on the plate, hats off to the chef ?‍?. I would definitely recommend this little café to anyone. Their menu is massive, we can't wait to visit here again. Big thumbs up ?

Great atmosphere...... staff are really helpful... nothing too much trouble.Locals are really friendly. Very dog and child friendly. Great sports and games....regular skittles & pool leagues with food laid on. Pity food not a regular facility or I'd never leave!

Lovely chips, lots of crispy bits which are my favourite. Battered sausage was very tasty and crispy. Food was super value, curry sauce flavoursome. One of the best places in Kettering for chips and I don't say that lightly!I drove past 2 other chippies just to get to this one on Broadway, still as good as ever and service nice and friendly

Windmill Club

My friend and I caught this place in the corner of our eye on New Year's Day.It was magical. We watched the darts with Heart Radio playing in the background, met a man who calls himself 'Mad Dog' and ate a crisp and ham sandwich.I'll never forget this day. 5 stars.

Peter's Fish Bar

Lovely fish and chips! We travel quite far to go here and it will be our only place to go for fish and chips from now on. Super friendly service, good menu, pizza and kebabs are also really good.

I regularly buy fish and chips from here and they really are delicious. The fish is succulent, the batter light and crispy and the chips hot and tasty. The mushy peas are a good texture . I thoroughly enjoy the food from MD’s. Service is also efficient and friendly. You should be prepared to wait at times as they cook the food fresh.

Had mothers day roast today. Food , service and atmosphere was excellent as always Donna and the team were welcoming. Fresh flowers on each laid table and complimentary chocolates for all mothers. ?

We absolutely loved our meal (family meal of 6 adults and 5 children) It was all hot and delicious. Zero complaints. The service was lovely, all of the staff were very friendly.
