We come to this place very often. Our visit this weekend (02/03/24) was not so pleasant. The supervisor who served us was extremely miserable, not a smile to be seen on his face, gave us the wrong wine, and left each of the 4 drinks we ordered scattered up and down the bar to the point where I felt like I was back in school running laps of the gym collecting them all. It's not hard to put a smile on your face and makes all the difference to the customer experience.

Always love going to the Earl of Dalkeith for a drink and a bite to eat. Everything is reasonably priced, and there is nearly always an offer on. Food is always perfectly warm and tastes great.Vegetarian options: A fair amount of vegetarian options.

Can't fault it. Came in here to read (which is perfect upstairs), had a burger and just a Pepsi. Fast service, great atmosphere and generally the interior looks great.

Its showing its age now. Could do with a makeover but probably never going to happen. Needed Wellington boots as the toilet floor was completely flooded

Quite a wait to be served due to only one serving for 15 minutes. Pleasant service from the busy staff.Some interesting pictures on the wall.Nicely decorated and clean throughout.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They assisted us in warming my friend's daughter's milk.

It's a 'spoons so ifcyou' ve been to one you've been them all. Mixed grill was good but steak was medium not rare as ordered.

This is a nice pub, the staff are excellent and really friendly, Danny was brilliant and I was impressed with his help and quality of service.. the pub perhaps could use a refresh as some aspects are a little dated.Overall it’s a good pub and I’m happy to recommend this place for both food and drinks…
