Food and atmosphere was amazing! We had shisha and then food in the restaurant. The waitress was a bit rude when I asked her to take the ice out of my water she gave me an attitude and looked at me like I asked her to do something very difficult ?. She brought back the glass of water without ice and told me there you go princess. I have told her to do not call me like that as I do not find it respectful coming from her after my simple request. She then replied again with an attitude mhm okay!. That ruined the evening literally. Will be back though as the shisha was great and the food too. Hopefully she will learn to behave by then and apologise.

First time visiting Wama’s Lounge and I would definitely recommend and visit again. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Nice restaurant space and cute outdoor heated lounge. Wonderful staff and really great food. Fantastic service from all in particular our server Abrinna who was warm, welcoming, polite, patient and professional. 5 stars.

Very pleasantly surprised an array of Eastern Mediterranean dishes on the menu which were cooked and presented beautifully. Amazing transformation of an old town centre pub. We will be going again..

We chose this place as it was a half way point for meeting up with friends for my hubby's birthday. Never been before, the food was amazing, we had the sharing platters and pudding. The staff, especially Steve was so attentive and very friendly. When I booked I said it was for a birthday celebration and when we arrived, there were balloons and a birthday banner. Also a sparkling candle and music on his pudding. We ate a lot and it was so nice to actually have a meal out and enjoy the food, as we have been out for meals recently and ood is bland, not warm. But not here, it was yummy, hot food and delicious ?. We don't live in kettering so gutted we cant just pop in for a meal. But hopefully be back when we travel that way again. Super, place and super staff. Thank you for making the evening special.

Love the food hereKid-friendliness: Kids menu contains both items inkeeping with the restaurant's food theme and the expected kids menu items.

As usual a delicious meal on a night out for two couples. Great cocktails. Good selection of bottled beer. After the starters and main courses we were more than satisfied. Service was exceptional. We were invited to move table away from a loud Christmas party, Without having to ask. Nothing to complain about just a lovely night out before Christmas.

We went here for my partners birthday today and it did not disappoint at all, we found them on Google recommendation and I have to agree the place is amazing. We called ahead to book a table last minute and asked if we could swap a few items on the menu and Megan on the other line was very polite and assured us we could, on arrival we were seated and then our drinks order was taken, then out came the bread, dips and salad which was delicious to start, the Salmon and chicken Shish with the rice was amazing and then deserts to finish. The garden was so lovely and defo don’t think you’re in Kettering! Megan the waitress there was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble! Overall an amazing experience, defo will be a regular visitor. ???

Awful experience. We were a large party celebrating a big birthday but pushed off our table after couple of hours because they wanted to reseat yet still took our desert order, I ordered what was meant to have been a hot chocolate brownie and got given a sundae to take away which was awful! They took some of our deposit money because 3 people didn’t come, even though we were still a large party and spent a lot of money! Offered to put us in garden but had two elderly people with us who would have been cold despite the heaters. Then the owner/manager was incredibly rude and just stated we can complain on the website. Food was mediocre and not worth the high prices, my beef stew was dry and had no 'red wine' sauce at all. Would never go back and will be telling all my friends and family not to waste their money here! They were seeing ‘money signs’ not people. Disgusting service.

My family and I organised a surprise 85th birthday for our Dad. We had people come all the way from Sussex to celebrate. My mum and dad had visited the restaurant once before and enjoyed their time. We originally booked the table for 5pm, but shortly after changed to 4.30pm. We received email confirmation that the time had been amended. We stopped by the restaurant earlier in the day to drop decorations off. The waitress on shift kindly let us decorate the table but incorrectly had us down for 5.00pm. She mentioned that we had the option of moving outside a little later in the evening, to which we declined due to my dad's age and the fact that a great portion of the outside area was taken up by shisha. Notice that we were told we had the option - this will factor in later. We also told her that the party was down to 12 guests instead of 15. We had paid a £150 deposit for our table, due to come off the bill at the end of the meal. - also important. All went to plan and Dad was pleasantly surprised. At the beginning of the meal, mum told us to get in as many drinks before 6.00pm, as the website had advertised bottomless drinks: ENJOY 90 MINUTES OF DELICIOUS FOOD AND BOTTOMLESS DRINKS Saturday & Sunday 11:30 - 18:00 After ordering a few, the waitress mentioned that bottomless drinks weren't actually in effect due to it being something to do with brunch. I felt that the website was incredibly misleading, and suspect this is intentional to encourage a bigger tab. Later on, we were finishing our main meals, when we noticed the staff were being very hasty whisking our plates away. We were then told we would have to leave by 7unless we moved outside. What had been presented as an option in the first instance revealed itself to be the only way we could continue to enjoy our time. We restated that we were unable to moved outside due to the elderly members of the family and the presence of shisha. They repeated we would have to leave. This was a disappointment but we tried to understand. We had a little time so asked for a desert menu. My sister-in-law asked what the difference was between a brownie and a fudge cake, to which the waiter said that the brownie was nice and hot. When they bought the brownie out it was presented in the form of a milkshake and it became clear that they wanted us to leave immediately. I believe they should have not offered desserts if they knew they wouldn't be up to the standard advertised The unacceptable bit: Mum then went up to pay and was met by a senior staff member, potentially the owner. She noticed they had only taken £130 off the bill, not the full £150 she had paid on the deposit. The owner said that this was due to only 12 of the 15 showing up and we were told it was on the website. The way the senior staff member was talking to her was patronising, disrespectful and plain rude. Mum started to say: "When I came with my husband last time we had a lovely time, so I'm quite..." And then the staff said: "If you have a complaint you can go on the website" And subsequently every time Mum tried to speak, this woman cut her off brazenly. I've never seen anything like it in a restaurant, I was shocked and disgusted. Eventually the only response she then came up with is that we could have moved outside if we wanted to and that the shisha fell in line with council guidelines. We strongly suspect this is not the case. Clearly this woman wanted to get on with other things, but here we were, having bought 12 people into her restaurant, celebrating what could be the last big birthday celebration of our lovely dad and we were event allowed to voice our concerns. You would think that spending £400 would allow us to speak for more than 5 seconds before interruption. The fact that this woman seemed to be a manager, or perhaps the owner, was incredibly concerning. I felt a strong need to report this behaviour and warn others. If you want to go to a place that cares only for their profit margins; wama's lounge is the place for you.

Another 5 star visit! You don't think you're in Kettering town centre when you're sat inside. The shisha lounge is fab too, you can just enjoy there, no need to book a table to eat.
