It was my first booking for a Sunday lunch. The menu is absolutely fine as you would expect.Even though the food was delicious,I would say the portion sizes were a little small considering the price. Its a shame as I'm in Thrapston and wanted to support local

We had a lovely stay, the room was fine ,clean and functional. The food was excellent, at the prices you wouldn't expect anything less. The Inn and restaurants best assets are the staff, professional, friendly attentive.Rooms: Basic and functional. Clean and well presented.Food & drinks: Excellent, breakfast is lovely and freshly cooked.

Booked for dinner and it didn't disappoint. The dining area is upstairs and well laid out. We were offered two menu's and the choices were wide. A large number of desserts as well. I did think though that the desserts would have benefitted with some simple/traditional options, for example I don't like gin so I couldn't have the Eton Mess... Service was good although the food was a little expensive. You get what you pay for.

The best place to eat around Thrapston for sure! Get the mushroom pie. It was outstanding! Great value and great service.

Had lunch with a walking group. Separate upstairs bar with good selection of drinks and fresh limes. Good service and very good selection of food. Did not see any local brew for sale, only downside.

The food was ok , but the service was very slow.

This venue is close to our home, but for reasons which escape me, we don't frequent the restaurant as often as we could. The food and service have always been excellent when we dine there, so our lack of visits is somewhat of a mystery. Possibly the COVID lock-downs broke the habit of our visits and have never been resumed. I shall endeavor to revert to our old habit of eating there regularly.
Lovely, clean and quiet rooms with friendly staff ?

The Woolpack Inn is such a lovely establishment. Visited here for lunch, 5 star service from Kate and Sarah and 5 star food by Arsen and Hannah! Will be back for sure.
