The food is super tasty especially the beef fried rice and the pork ribs. My children and i had a swell time savoying the order. I sure will recommend if you visit Northampton say hello to the menu in there.Dietary restrictions: She always do ask about allergies before processing your order.

Usually good food , tonight the chips were cold and well overcooked , chicken in the curry was absolutely awful , food was cold , waited hour and half for delivery , very disappointed ......

Nit good, spare ribs inedible, as so dam tough and dry. Lamb mostly inedible as gristle and fat. Really disappointing, I'd go elsewhere.

It was absolutely delicious for our first time.We will be definitely be ordering again!We had roast duck and fried rice with mushroom chow mien and it was the best thing we have tasted in a while!This is our new fav Chinese!The lady who answered was really kind,and also the man who delivered it was polite!Great service!

Golden Bowl was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 3 (Generally Satisfactory) by West Northamptonshire on 13th January 2021.better then when i stopped eating there because they had no stars!!!!

Really like this place, food is always great and on time! It seems that most negative reviews are based on experiences through Just Eat or troubles over the phone. I usually just go there and order because I like the walk but I have ordered through Just Eat before and never had any problems. The staff there are so friendly and polite. I saw a review in all capital letters complaining about a child in the background on the phone. You know who you are if you ever decide to look at these reviews again. Not that I know who owns the place but it seems to be family run, so its disrespectful to mention the fact that you can hear a child when people are trying to run their business and maintain a family simultaneously. I'm currently writing this on my way to get my food so I'll be sure to say hi to the little one just for you
Placed order on Just Eat - money taken immediately and 3 hours later still no food! Can't even call the restaurant as they have a voicemail system that says the mailbox is full. Will be seeking full refund from Just Eat.Avoid at all costs!!

Hi! Just quick reviewWe ordered BBQ Spare ribs and Ribs with Spicy Sweet garlic ginger sous - meat tasted old, dry and absolutely awful, the sous was okay though, absolutley dissapointed in ribs. Mixed seafood Chow mein was okay.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Absolutely DREADFUL!!! Restaurant is ignoring my complaint/ignoring voice mail, had to get Just Eat to intervene. Why is no one helping? Appaling customer service, there is no one at hand. Missing food from my order, food barely warm at all, had to heat it up! On top of that.. it was an hour late!Save your time and money and go to another restaurant. The worst take away experience I've ever had ???

Tonight me and my daughter went to the Golden bowl Regent Square NorthamptonWhen we was waiting for our food the staff was very unapproachable, when asking how long the wait, we was grunted at and made feel as not a priority as we had been waiting over 30 minutes already. Finally after 45mins of waiting inside the takeaway, our order was wrong and food tasteless

I only ever order from this Chinese since the 5 years ago when I first tried it. I don’t like things too salty and although a Chinese has to be, this one has flavour so isn’t too salty. The egg fried rice is always the best fried rice as it’s got lots of egg and the rice cooked to perfection (slightly browned). The ribs are always meaty not too fatty and the sauce is always flavourful without being too anything else that you get from other places! I normally have duck with beansprouts and sometimes the duck isn’t perfect and too much soft fat on it, but always a good amount of duck and chicken chow mien is always as good, occasionally maybe very slightly overcooked if you’re being hypercritical. I’ve never found a Chinese takeaway to be an all rounder like this one though where everything is a pleasure. My mate said really good duck with crispy pancakes, one of he best for them!
